There's a setting to drop textures on far off objects. That is supposed to help with frame rate. According to in-game info, anyway. So far I'm enjoying the expansion but personally, I haven't noticed much with the graphics upgrade. I'm also on ps5. I didn't expect a major overhaul but I did expect it to at least be noticeable. But hey, I'm not complaining. It was already a pretty game.

The graphics update is very noticable on PC, but so is the framerate/performance hit. Way bigger hit than the actual eyecandy improvement.

Just wanted to follow up with an update re: frame rate... I experimented with the graphics settings on PS5 and haven't felt an improvement in trouble spots. Though, that's really just because the areas I can feel a frame rate loss happen to have more going on close to my character, rather than far off objects. This is just my experience and not anything scientific though. It hasn't been a real problem either, just something I noticed.
