After years of playing FFXIV, i was finally in a group with you. Had your stream open at the time, and besides the delay, it was helpful to hear you remind me of the things to not forget, like the taints. Too easy to get tunnel vision in there the first time with so much going on.

@@austins.2495 Seriously? Six years later? Anyway, i was also in his deep dungeon video. The DRK that ran past the exit because i was a bit out of it after a root canal. This was all before the data center split, and am now on Crystal, so don't get groups with him anymore.

I do love how they put Cuchulainn in this fight and how's he's very similar to his FF12 fight. Well we now know that he isn't gonna be some sort of Ascian.

If anyone hasn't mentioned, happy, the three adds during the Echidna encounter can be stunned, though I know most DPS that can like to go stun crazy; but you can interrupt Echidna's fire aoe and petrifaction casts during the split phase.

This place seemed so much easier and faster than Crystal/Sircus Tower, and World of Darkness. I liked Mr Chuchulainn from FF Tactics/XII and his makeover lol.

For dog on a pike, remember that mudras except fuma are also counted as magic damage. Had suiton fail to activate because I forgot about this in my early runs(!)

+ForceG27 Old comment, but this also seems to be true for Geirskogul for Dragoons. I didn't see which buff it had, but it certainly either counts as a magic or ranged attack.

The ending cutscene is so weird. Basically you enter the ship from Alien beat Fem-Rock Johnson Scorpion Queen, encounter Devilman, get rescued by a talking cat, escape only for the ship to open up a Death Star concentrated laser beam that shoots at you in the style of the satellite laser from Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, the laser then opens a rift DMC5 Virgil style, the ship shoots out a giant Doom Eternal floating coffin that Devilman pushes into the rift causing it to close. What the hell did I just watch?

With the line AoE from the sharks spawned by Cetus it's actually better to run to them, as the damage is based on distance.

Happy you forgot to mention that when the last boss split and you don't killed them fast enough the boss will enraged once it apear again

No need to pull the final boss after split, each one of them will go to the main enmity target in each alliance

+Hasasmo Pull means more of a "Drag the bosses to these locations" more than the whole "get aggro". Made sure to mention the aggro is automatic.

+Acidic Dragon I saw the same piece of loot drop from the same chest, both were the DRK Pants... It shouldn't allow copies to drop at the same time, it dropped again later, which is fine... but still.

Interesting note. The sharks are Rockfins from Seekers of Adoulin, a race exclusive to one of the new "king" type races similar to the old 3 king system.

Hard to enjoy these raids the first time at all, when even if you say you're new people still just get mad at you for not knowing mechanics. Sorry I can't automatically guess what I'm supposed to do? Seems pretty simple now though.

I used to keep a 3 ring binder with notes and diagrams of raid boss fights and complex trash pulls for another MMO. It actually made the game a lot more enjoyable being on top of my game (I was main tank, so this is probably not necessary at all for anybody who isn't just a huge nerd)
