AAA game studios are a business. And if you own a business it's goals are to make money. The big issue is the stock holders, America has a problem with having quarterly reviews of profits which is the worst. Share holders demand consistent profits which is why games are rolled out the way they are as too much time and money spent causes loss to share holders. So when long development time is done, they us micro transactions to make up the cost as well as employee cuts. The solution is basically to get rid of the quarterly calls and make them annually. But it's impossible as humans are greedy so they want that short term profit.

I'd say a good number of those (at least 10mio) is just the one-and-done accounts of ppl that didn't feel this game is for them and never touched it after a few hours. but this is hardly anything to be surprised at since other games do count their dead accounts like this too.

Yet another video of being how ff14 is the best 🤦🤦🤦 tbh I love ff14 so much it actually my main game but I really hate those videos like we get it ff14 is amazing but it not the only game that it is amazing there are so many games that is as amazing as FF14

I Actually like your comment. I never said it was the only game nor was it the best game. Certainly not at all. I'm just reminded what a good game looks like when managed correctly. Emphasizing on the fun and not the monetization. Especially in "AAA" standards where a good game is not common nowadays. I'm sure you can name some great games but how many of them are "AAA" and how many of them have NO monetization A.K.A being a buy and play? No scrutiny but a genuine question.

If you think FF14 has good Free trial you should try Guild wars 2. Honestly Base game is for free and every expansion is Buy once no subs needed. Great value for time. i personally prefer FF14 but Guild wars 2 feels like a better game to me on many other areas too. So if you read this far give Guild wars 2 a shot if you need to find something to scracth that MMO itch.

Gw2 is not a very fun solo experience. Maybe if you had friends can explore the world together

I agree, GW2 deserves more love. Its has its "places in the sun", like open world and mounts (which arent available in the free trial :D ), but its also very, very time consuming once you dive deeper. At least thats my experiance. Its a good, solid game with engaging combat and I'll recommend it whereever I can, but it cant hold a candle to FF14. Though, like I said, it definitely has its moments... and since they rediscovered the existance of their marketing team, who know, things may finally improve.

There is no such thing as a better game, just because u think so doesn't make it a fact, everyone have there own stuff they think it better, I personally don't like open world that is just a giant empty space, I love the zones in ff14 it helps me not to get lost or Wonder for hours, but yet I still get lost there too lol

-The que problems hmm OW2 had them vs Diablo Immoral(- literally no problems) -DDOS attack claim I take it with a grain of salt since it's Activision Blizzard - League is F2P with making $$$ on cosmetics why can't OW2 make similar (- probably psychoanalysts that worked on DI showed how battlepasses make more $$$) -OW2 in fact is monetization overhaul, had to kill OW or else can't sell heroes without legal issues
