They had to, they have class score and stormpod node quests. Otherwise those class score bonuses for command seals would be pretty useless outside the odd CQ setup. It is a nice side benefit for story nodes though for people that have issues clearing.

I don't play NA but I don't think I'd call it really good when there's high highs but very low lows.... like Imagine seeing a gold saber and it's fucking Sigurd. Same thing with Semiramis and Maid Alter.

Kinda true, I mean oc some units here are a lot better than others. But tbh aside from Arthur, Semiramis and Sigurd I think all these units are pretty solid and have their positives. You're a lot more likely to get blessed than screwed. Most of this guys are at least decent.

Yeah it's definitely only meant for newbies. I badly want Melt, Hokusai, Ivan, and Moriarty, but 4/21 servants is just terrible odds even for gssr standards. They probably only made it available for everyone for the few vets that actually want to try their luck.

Have mixed feelings for this FGO NA GSSR as it's a maybe not roll for this one as it's super risky for me. As I've got 14 (out of 21) servants at my roster and 9 of them at NP5. Even though I really want to get NP2 for Maid Alter or Melt or MHX Alter on this GSSR or NP3 for King Hassan or NP4 for Semiramis won't hurt either or getting the servant I don't have is okay.

NA almost never gets buffs early and Salter is an anni buff. They don't bring anni buffs early. Last buff we got early IIRC was Dantes battery, but no one really cared much because Castoria was released when it dropped.

It might be just me, but i kinda think that the banner is kinda meh and gets even worse if you are not a new player. It would be one thing if there would be different brackets like normal GSSR where you can make calculated purchase, but this one is just flat out "Let's go gambling!" moment. Though i do wonder if GSSR is even worth it now from NA player perspective since we know arc 2 ends next year on JP and FGO will move into completely unknown territory(The only thing we do know is Nasu had an interview where he said he would like to leave FGO and focus on other projects, which already spells big dip in writing quality) and the businessman in me knows that's one hell of a extremely risky investment now and safer bet would be to just wait a year and see how the things pan out.

GSSR is worth it regardless because it's realistically the least about of SQ you'll ever spend to get a 5* character. It may not be the one you want, but it's still a 5*. The average cost of a 5* in this game is asinine.

Clairvoyance is a running joke that NA can "see the future" because we know ( most of the time) about events/ banners 2 years ahead so we can save for them, but stuff like this can throw a Wrench in the works sometimes. That's why destiny summon coming last Anni was a surprise bc we were supposed to have a but before it came out, and it was quite good, allowing us to be picky with a gssr, as it's assumed that the player would choose either what they wanted from a class, or the best in class, making it basically a full positive.

@@cocacolan1712 if you get np2 from servants who are supports, you can just leave them at the lowest possible level that allows them to unleash their skills, without putting HP fous on them. This is very useful for challenge quests when you want the character to die quickly, better than just increasing the level of the NP of the character who is already leveled.
