No its just a basic test of survival

No. Prison tower, along with the Kiara boss fight, are just two endlessly repeatable fights for testing out servants. It's very common to test servants in these two environments because you don't need to hinder your progress or have an alt account just for these fights. Plushie does a lot of prison tower solos because he tends to value a servant's ability to solo difficult content quite highly alongside their ability to minturn.
