She's incredibly useful. She's good with Quick and Buster Servants but is definitely a God tier for Arts Servants. I've been using her with Mash and Himiko to.. varying effects but still a fun way to play

@@cuppu4525 They have different roles though, Tamamo compliments Castoria, as she provides things Castoria doesn’t. Those being heals, cool down reduction on skills, and NP damage. Having some kind of sustain is an especially big boon. Because as good as Castoria’s solemn defense is, you’re prone to getting chipped out as it’s only 1 hit without overcharge. And Castoria herself doesn’t have any sustain in the way of heals, so Castoria + Tamamo and your arts dps is ideal for difficult content.

For the last lotto's third 90++ node I needed a Castoria NP in order to do enough damage to the pharaohs, and I didn't want to risk getting a support Castoria that didn't have the battery append maxed. So instead I let the friend support be Oberon while bringing my own Castoria along, ha. Having a Castoria yourself lets you do stuff like that. I find that Arts is by far the most flexible card type in both farming and hard content in regards to what DPS you can bring.

if you get your own Castoria, you can enable a support Summer Ibuki which from my experience is way better for farming than rolling Koyan, Oberon, and high NP levels on whatever buster farmer

I rolled and NP3 Summer Ibuki for waifu. She became the main farmer in 90% of events, including some of the weird 90++ nodes with less than 3 enemies per wave

Castoria is the only of the good support servants I was able to roll so I just use her in all of my teams and she never let me down. I'm surprised you didn't mention that her NP can also carry you through some of the toughest bossfights since it allows you to face tank an ignore invincible enemy NP. Also the absolute insanity that Castoria + Muramasa in lancer nodes

Phenomenal video and delivered at an amazing time. People for whatever reason think Oberon instantly makes their single core NP1 damage dealer capable of blowing through every 90++ node and that's simply just not the case. Castoria is incredibly powerful and versatile in these 90++ environments when running multicore teams that can deal with these stages more effectively and reliably.

Before watching : she's the most f2p support in the game. With other support you need NP2 servants, MLB kscope, and much more, while with castoria you MIGHT want to have black grail but it's not necessary

@IDGAF About Your Waifu maybe the 0.09% of pulling her? Like, outside of EN foresight, it is ridiculously unlikely you pulled her on the first banner. And when we consider they don't announce banners until about 2 weeks before they drop, you'd have most likely no way to get her on the rerun either. Meaning, you'd have to fuckin pay to get her. To this fuckin day, Paracelsus is still the best f2p arts support in the game and George is still the best overall f2p support in the game cause they don't require using any Quartz.

She is the best f2p support because you don't even need to have her. Only troublesome thing is needing 2004 MC, just burn a bad 4* servant for RP it will be more useful.

this is the first time I heard about multicore but I've done it mostly on 90+ nodes and the free quests of Shinjuku and Agartha, and I'd say you're right about her buffs being AoE matters... I matters a lot

She is simply great you level her skills, you borrow another one from your friends list and boom 80% of aoe arts units just work, buster and quick are good too but the ease of access Castoria has is unmatched and if you do have other supports the system only improves, the other systems are good but I feel have much higher bar of entry.

I use her always along himiko and do wonderful things with dantes, nobu, artoria OG, grand lancer, gilgamesh, musashi as Main dps, agree with you, with castoria theres almost no need for other support

I saved up when she first came out and was lucky enough to get her at NP3 then. Got her fairly early in the attempt, too, which is why she's NP3. I decided to go for her at NP2 once I got her initial copy so early, and ended up getting two of her on my last 11-roll for her. So then feeling lucky I rolled the rest of my SQ on the other banner open at the time, and got KP. Good times. Not so lucky since, I'm afraid. Wasted over 100 SQ failing to get Muramasa back during New Years, and then did it again trying for Best Girl Mordred during her recent rate-up. Then I got two copies of Fairy Gawain rolling for Morgan just this last week. My luck is odd...

For me, 90++ node is usually not worth it unless it's lottery event since most event have finite material shop so all it really does is gain some extra bond point and make the dead week even longer than normal which is suck because the next year implement 3 weeks event for everything aside from lotto and story chapter. So I decide to only roll her at November next year instead since every other stuff I care about is before that JP banner a few month and after the NA a few month.

If you already cleared the shop you get less bond then farming free quests by doing 90++ because the cost is 40 instead of around 20+ ap.

If you have to skip someone (considering you like all the meta supports equally). Skip koyanskaya. Yes koyanskaya is better than oberon, but she has another banner in January, skipping Oberon on the other hand, you'll be mothless for a year and a half

Oberon is better than Koyan. He improves Arts and Quick looping and allows his own farming system. Koyan relies on having Oberon or specific CEs in most cases.

No. Castoria is a must. Because Koyanskaya come in anni and you'll be given a lot of sq. Also for new player even tho you can pull koyanskaya it will take a lot of time & effort to max out her skills. Castoria offers a lot of protection and utility so even tho you cannot 10/10/10 her skill, you can still get the protection from her 3rd skill and NP to go through story quest.

Maybe? Depends on if they keep the current pacing or not. Assuming they drop part 3 about two weeks after part 2, that’s about 15 days on the Oberon banner. And maybe a bit of the overlap with the anniversary? A few days, at best. Jp had about 5 days of overlap.

Another good thin about arts looping is they can loop 4 times in a row which buster teams cannot. And you don't have to roll for premium buster DPS. Theres plenty of AOE welfares coming up (ranmaru, the vietnam shota, iyo, and summervalks) Buster and Quick teams have no survivability options.

Castoria allows me to use Habetrot as a QP farmer. though due to saving 300k+ Friendship points and an additional ~300k from events including Nero fest I was able to gain NP5 Habetrot to make it a breeze.

On my JP, I only have her as my OP support servant. With my current level (lvl110) and roster (6ssr), I can 3 turn the last lotto in 90+ node and opened 100+ boxes. That is to show how can she improve whatever your lineup is. I believe that she is a must summon, either you are a newbie or veteran.
