My great friend @xysunder was kind enough to provide his summary of kuku at the end of the video at 26:20. I highly recommend reading it since he is the most experienced Kuku user I know. It doesn't necessarily 100% agree with what I said in the video but I think alternative perspectives are important especially in reviews. Ok I apologize for a mistake at 13:49, I did not consider Arjuna Alter's sky attribute giving him 1.1 times multiplier against earth. However this does not change the relative damage between the 2 much when counter trait.

My biggest issue with Kukulkan's kit is that I feel she stomps on the foot of Quick's side of the color pie. A big complaint with quick is that they can't really make full use out of all the stars they generate; the most they can get out of them is to feed them into buster cards. Meanwhile, a buster servant gets a full suite of interesting skills that can get buffed by stars, an obscenely overtuned star-generating NP, and the best crit-star passive in the game. The whole point of quick is generating stars, yet not a single quick servant comes remotely close to interacting with them as Kukulkan does. And as an additional kick in the balls, she's literally a minty green lady.

Unfortunately judging from Summer Skadi, the impression I've gotten is that Lasengle has just kind of accepted that Quick is destined to forever play second fiddle to Buster like how Koyan Dark plays second fiddle to Kukulkan. And are unable or unwilling to give it a unique way to be buffed that doesn't also enhance Buster even further.

Plushie, I believe you forgot to mention another amazing synergy she has with Koyan Light. In Buster looping she not only has anti-earth, but an anti-man buff too. Because of Koyan’s second skill she really only loses damage against sky enemies which are the rarest. So while those traitless numbers are accurate, I feel you should have mentioned those traitless (against sky enemies numbers) numbers are the rarest you’ll see. Otherwise this was a a truly superb hot take, and I appreciate your restraint regarding Koyan Dark. I hope she gets a buff this Christmas, she’s my favorite servant too next to Takasugi!

I remember all the theories we had for LB7 characters, people were saying hernán cortés, or maybe quetz alter, a lot of people wanted more aztec gods, and they got tez and tlaloc, sure, but as someone who grew up in the mayan area of mesoamerica, I wanted mayan representation, specially since they moved the ping on the map of LB7 from south america to central america, I was really scared no mayan servants would ever come into fgo. When I heard kukulcán was being made into a servant I was fucking ecstatic, I told my friend we had to np5 that servant, whether it was sht or not, cause, represent. So, yeah, her being possibly one of the most op servants in the game up there with castoria not only makes me happy, but so glad. I don't know if they're ever releasing zotz also, over here we used to have some comedy skits with a bat called "la gruta del alux" and the bat is just called bat in mayan, zotz. camazotz is quite literally death bat, lmao. fun fact, no spoilers for LB7 please, let's gooo!!

For her multicore/supportive role, I would say she is very similar to summer ibuki or arcueid in performance. If you take them, you are definitely using their NPs offensively, but they also have the freedom to power up your other attackers.

This helped me realize more that I don't really need Kuku. I think I've been a victim of hype mostly. She's strong, but I have SIbuki and Melu at NP 2 and with Melu on Rateup currently on NA I'm going to throw and extra roll or 2 at her because she's my perfect no brain farmer(She has a banner this time in 2025 that has Barghest alongside her that I will be using way more quartz on because more barghest is great). No matter the event I can slam farming nodes with ease unless they are high difficulty Sabers. In which case I'll just bust out Sibuki and wash them away. Thanks plushie for always show casing the facts and realities of each unit. It really helps me better spend my quartz/resources.

I have Sbuki at NP5 and lv. 114. I'm still going for Kuku, but that's as much because her very existence amused me into playing FGO in the first place as her potential to clear 90++ nodes. One thing I do like about her kit is the Skill Seal her NP provides, which forces enemies to unga bunga with her instead of do anything tricky as long as she hits it first-which in turn forces them to engage with her array of defences the hard way. It's like the overcharge on Morgan's NP. It's a seemingly minor aspect of the NP that's actually the cornerstone of her ability to engage with harder content.

@@ZETA14.88 I have Merlin and her own skills confer Invul (which is turned into Anti-Enforcement Defence) so eh, seems like a small tradeoff. Yeah the BBB deck is inconvenient for breakbars but I was thinking about going for a very aggressive, double Koyan/Oberon-style frontline support where only Kuku defends herself, and once the Koyans are killed off Merlin can jump in to keep her alive long enough to whittle down the enemy while Oberon saves End of a Dream for the final facecard push. Seems like a decent way to deal with anything that has 4 breakbars combined with her niche and NP damage buffs.

Since you talked about the 50% event dmg ce thing Melusine is actually able to make use of this to get more dmg. If she starts at third ascension and has append 2 it gives her more dmg than mlb black grail as her 3rd skill will just give np dmg up instead of charge which she doesn't need as long as you have her append 2 maxed combined with the event ce's 100% dmg up is slight better turn 1-2 dmg and I think better turn 3 as well. Edit: Kuku still has her anti earth dmg mod and this is mostly a niche thing. So it's not going to make Melusine better.

Surprised you didn't compare her NP damage to S.Ibuki. They're both anti-earth and a lot of people invested heavily into S.Ibuki. While she's arts, she is the anti-earth AOE servant to compare to. Tiamat is insanely strong but unfortunately due to Alter Ego class getting resisted by Knight Classes she has a more limited use case. Unless you compensate with raw damage by NP5ing her and so on. But that is true for every unit in the game tbf

Well let's see: 84k, 177k and then 395k I'm assuming these are all single target numbers with her aoe np hitting only one target. Generally 90++ nodes have like 300k hp enemies on wave 1 or 2 so this kinda doesn't make any difference to farming. 90+ nodes yeah maybe she'll power through but so will Godjuna and Morgan and Melusine because enemy hps are still manageable. At the end of the day for 90++ you always need single target attackers unless you have a 200% damage boost ce on a class advantage hitting top tier aoe servant (like Melusine was for this Morganfest).

I currently do not have a singular hyperinvested farmer. Im just currently sitting on 1400 sq and 150 tickets wondering what I should invest in. I know I want rulersine in the summer, which is fine because I think it would be good to have a highly invested arts and a highly invested buster character, so like np3 of each. I was thinking tiamat would be my choice but judging from how plushie did not mention the hyper okaasan in this video when hes talking about all the best buster characters in fgo, it does not bode well.
