Well, 900,000 kilometers and 66 continuous years on the road makes this car one of the most ecological ones from the standpoint of resources once needed to build it. All with automotive technologies from the 1950s. That's why I'm a bit on the skeptical side about some miracle technical fixes so much in vogue in our present time.

Thanks for watching! And we quite like what you've said about this car being extremely ecological! Reduce, and reuse like they say.

The passing from generation to generation an example of fine engineering should be customary in every culture. This aspect of Parsi culture I truly commend! Thank you for uploading this in its shortened format 😁

Great story. 7:09 Preferring a classic over a more expensive car reminded me of when some people were admiring an old VW Beetle I had. The guy next to me who had an Alfa Romeo roadster did not like his car was being ignored. He jealously yelled out "I paid a lot of money for this car!"
@DWREV Жыл бұрын
Oh my. He certainly didn't win any friends that day, did he?
@josephbingham1255 Жыл бұрын
@@DWREV Actually the group seemed to regard his comment as a bit immature and geekish. And - that guy was teaching economics at USC at the time! Later when he told of all the troubles he had with that Alfa roadster and I said "I told you" he didn't like that either :)

You are the best in presenting such excellent programme on topic of my earnest interest, Parsees & more specifically their passion for cherishing things ...just now I heard your verdict on DW news channel & you are absolutely right ...they are pragmatic to the core ...I wonder how the world is blown away by all majority who are most non pragmatic by neglecting their cars, bikes but saying that they are pragmatic by simply spending time in earning money. Mad world with a handful of wise people like those about whom you speak. Otherwise, we would lose meaning in living itself. He has heartfelt congratulations, thanks, DW 🙏

It probably have a toyota engine😂😂 probably grandpa change it
@josdesouza Жыл бұрын
What's a Toyota engine but a simple, well-engineered and built piece of machinery? Most car manufacturers used to make similar ones when markets were still relatively far from being saturated.
@derunfassbarebielecki Жыл бұрын
Old toyota engines arent even remotely reliable enough. As long as the block or cylinder head isnt broken these old fiat engines will drive until there is no tomorrow.
