Fiat 500 Classic - Engine rebuild- Part 4 - Cylinder head installation

Fitting a professionally restored cylinder head to my Fiat 500 engine. I used the 70mm cylinders with no head gasket and high compression pistons. Final compression ratio was 9:1 , ideal for the 30/70 camshaft.

Salut, misto lucrare. La minutul 9:43, cand zici de garnitura de la capac: daca am de pluta, crezi ca ar fi bine sa ii dau totusi si un strat finut de silicon? Sau pun doar garnitura simpla?

If you refer to the ignition timing, I do that with a strobe light, like any other car. it's kind of difficult to film with the engine in the car. For the static timing, you should consult a manual. You can find at least one free pdf on google.

Yes, the cylinders I got were designed to work without a head gasket. Also, the head was freshly skimmed.
