Hi Mark, regarding the handbrake issue, I had this on my Peugeot (not saying will be your cause of problem) but there should be x2 cables that connecte into one bit of metal under back of handbrake under plastic covers. You may notice that the bit of metal that the two cables connext to maybe lop sided meaning one of cables is out of adjustment. My problem was one of the handbrake adjustable mechanism in the hub as it had broke and wouldn't self adjust to had to replace it as the handbrake was only really pulling one of the cables if that makes sense. Only just started watching vid so you may have found it lol oh just see it had snapped hahaha 😆

Little cars are underapprechiated I think there perfect for nipping around town and going to work and back .. I used to have a metro in the day for this and kept my real car in garage for weekend use.
