When you generate the xhorse key you do one time or you need to generate the remote separate and the chip separate?

Did you prepared the remote first with kd x2 ? Or you put the key in the programmer and generated the dealer key ?

Yes you prepare the key with kd then put in the programmer and make the dealer key then program to the car

Hi, thanks for your video, it provides some important details that are either missing or glossed over by other videos I have viewed on this subject. I am using a Topdon T-Ninja 1000 keyfob programmig machine to attempt to do same as what you did in your video. This machine is capable of doing all the steps you demonstrated with your IM508 setup, as you can see in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHatfneCr6pgd68 I purchased on eBay a new aftermarket keyfob that was advertised as compatible with my keyfob's FCC code LTQFI2AM433TX. Everything works as per your video, except that when I try to do the "make dealer key" step, it fails with message "The chip is locked, and the dealer key cannot be generated". So I purchased a LTQFI2AM433TX-compatible replacement PCB on Aliexpress, swapped it into my keyfob, and tried again And again, the "make dealer key" step fails with message "The chip is locked". I am curious to know what is causing this failure, and is there anything I can do to make it work? Thanks.
