My first car was a 1969 Fiat 850 Sport Coupe. I loved that car. So did Minnesota winters... they loved it so much, they ate it!

my first car too ! learnt so much from it - had the head off to grind the valves every 2k miles! - killed it after hitting a tree head on , then broadsiding a bridge 6 months later... I learnt a bit about driving too , lol

Thank you ! It’s a modified Abarth ‘A112 A2’ 1049cc motor with a copy of a Group 2 TCR exhaust system. 👍

Is this original 903 cc engine ?

The original 903 has been replaced with a modified Abarth A112-A2 1049cc motor.

@@simtalkayak The motor is a 1049 cc Abarth A112 A2 which is now spinning anticlockwise to suit the 850 gearbox. This was achieved by using a Cosworth A3 high lift camshaft. The original cylinder head is fitted with large stainless valves and has been flowed together with more compression, I also made an adaptor to suit the inlet manifold for the 40 DCOE side draft Weber. The exhaust is a similar system to the ones used on the Group 2 TCR Abarth race cars in the 1960’s . This combination seems to work very well and is reliable. 👍
