That is the best colour for them and great work saving one of the nicest cars Fiat made…

Always thought it a pity Fiat didn’t import these in RHD , fabulous looking and driving car . Good job Ian.

Always liked these, great looking car, shame they are only left hand drive, I think Fiat would have sold a load more if there was a right hand drive version. Yours is the best colour combo imo. You need to get it finished for the summer👍

Hi Neil, I saw an SZ in York a few days ago. It looked really nice, perfect condition but it looked very strange in the modern traffic 👍

Bought mine in Italy 1995 with aircon,2 airbags, leather, hardtop , full house. Blue metallic. Sold it with 6000 miles after 6 years because of the variable valve issues. So sad.

Love these cars , I looked into buying one before the values started climbing but , after having two Lancia Integrales , LHD in the UK is a pain especially on country roads where these type of cars are right at home . I went the MX5 route instead because in my opinion they are closest to Alfa / Fiat/ Lancia in terms of handling and ease of ownership.

Great video, these are gorgeous things, that looks like a cracker, survived really well. Subbed a while ago as your channel is great, really engaging and you have a really good presenting style.

Theres a lot to be said for cars that don't have sill covers. Shame about that leaking roof rotting the floor edges out though.

I am old……..traffic 😂 I love the Barchetta. But in that colour, I adore it. You didn’t say if it was original UK, or imported later in life. I suspect the latter due to the condition underneath 😀
@ItaliaAutos2 жыл бұрын
UK I think.

That's a decent looking car Neil, & now that you've done the various bits of bodywork & general servicing work, will no doubt give the owner many miles of happy motoring. What happened with the leaking soft top/ door seals?

Cracking little cars. This video has me wondering if you ever use lanoguard on the cars you work on. I'm about to treat the underside of my Brera.

You put it wrong on the bridge arms in the back......put it on the dedicated supports as you can bend the metal in that place where you put the arms. The front is put correctly on the arms but the back not. Also i would not start a car with such an old timing belt and fluids but maybe the owner drove it there so you know it runs ok. I own a barchetta for more then 20 years and i like the car very much.
@ItaliaAutos2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. As I use large support pads it doesn't damage the sill, well as long as there not rusted out.
@ricardolinker78682 жыл бұрын
@@ItaliaAutos Well why not use the official supports? I would not accept that with my barchetta :) I like your videos a lot and also the italian cars.
@krismartin72152 жыл бұрын
Correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure they didn't make the barchetta in RHD
