Fiat Punto Airbag light on. Double whammy - Tech info wrong & someone else had been at it

I realise this is from some time ago, but did you find out later on, why the fuse was removed???!! I have the same situation, gingerly put fuse in empty slot and behold; light off and no probs. Can't help worrying though....! Great vid, understand your frustration with your diag software and love your question in Google search box!! Hahaha!!

I believe you looked at diagrams for 10.2008+ model while you should look at older diagrams for 2005+ model. In 10.2008 Fiat made major electrical upgrade on Grande Punto.
