for a first year car getting to the podium I am more than impressed with what Cadillac did with their car. Looks great, raced well, definitely has the potential for a win but I am happy that Cadillac came back after some 20 years out of le mans and got a podium finish and lead a few times. Hopefully they can eek out a few more kmph for next year.

Cadillac did an amazing job and the NA flat plane crank engine was exceptional for 24 hrs of Le Mans.

It's a cross plane crank, not flat plane. The Corvette C8.R is the one with the flat plane V8.

@@epi2045 That C8.R won its class, so I'd say it was up for the whole 24 hour thing, especially considering that engine was more or less designed from the ground up explicitly as an endurance engine.

​@epi2045 c6 Z06 is probably the most pure Corvette youre going to get your hands on. 7.0l 505hp 6 speed manual 3,200lbs curb weight. But the C8s are definitely faster lol

Interesting their engine revs more than the Ferrari, and is slower along the Mulsanne Straight, but the Ferrari is so much quicker through the chicanes. Nice on board camera.

i feel a bit sad because I just saw an onboard of the rebellion LMP1 going through the Porsches curves at up to 286km/h in 2020 and now seeing this onboard at 243km/h max only. Would have been cool if the hypercar were a bit faster :)

This Cadi is a hybrid. It's a spec part for this series much like the imsa car. It still uses the big V8 motor but also does have a hybrid to give additional power. The only non-hybrids this race were Glickenhaus and Vanwall.

The Cadillac is Hybrid, All Cars Built with the IMSA LMDh Technical Regulations must use the same Bosh Hybrid System. in the WEC The Cadillac V-Series.R (LMDh) and the Porche 963 (LMDh) Use the Same Hybrid System.
