It's insane, isn't it? Our food, water, air, all poisoned. Mattresses too. I've heard (though I haven't seen proper data to prove it yet) even clothing has certain chemicals and dyes that can leech into the skin and cause issues. It's being made near impossible to just live a healthy life in the modern world. More and more I just want to move to the mountains and away from this kind of garbage.

Thus the reason most companies don't mention that their mattresses are flame retardant but the ones that do, who claim they use wool, are lying about the wool. Wool burns so they supplement with the wool either boric acid, zippro, or silica.

It looks like Nectar is doing the same thing as Casper. Casper encases their fiberglass with rayon, and by reading the label, it looks like Nectar is encasing their fiberglass with rayon also. I don't think the fiberglass can get through the rayon.

Maybe it can't but over time glass fibers can cut through any fabric and get out. I wouldn't trust it long term. However, you'll probably throw away either a Nectar or Casper before the glass fibers cut their way through the fabrics because both mattresses are made of cheap plastic foam that softens and body impresses with use in a short period of time and all you have to do is read their warranties to find out this is the case because both softening and body impressions are not covered.

My Sleepys mattress from Mattress Firm leaked fiberglass out of the cover over time, never even removed the cover. The stuff is all over our bedroom

I took off my nectar cover today and wash it without read the lable .. after put back on i lay down for 5 minutes I few itchy and poking me... I change the different sheet and still feeling it... and now I KZbin to see what going on with nectar this is exactly... what am I support to do now I only got this mattress not too long ago

This is bad I have to clean everything and garbage everything and clean out washer and dryer ... it's every where it's difficult to see until using flash light and black shirt to wipe... fiber glass is super fine and clear

Is is within the return policy time frame? If not, call them and complain and get a microscope of some kind of magnification and take a picture of the glass fibers then complain again. These companies are screwing people royally.

Either the wool is treated or there is some fire barrier under the wool that is treated, because two propane flames will burn through a thin quilting layer of wool in 70 seconds.
