The incessant and wholly unnecessary background noise is what makes an otherwise good video into a dreadful one. If, as you have said in another comment, you need to mask radio sound, get some bluetooth earphones and leave us with the sound of you working. I might then be more inclined to subscribe.

Hi guys, just came across your channel and enjoyed very much what l saw. Superb job on the repair. My pal that works with glass uses a small specific metal roller for repairs. When acetone can't clean it enough,he just sticks in a metal can and sets on fire so the roller continues to roll again. For fill in patches, he uses a brown premix fiberglass-muck which he nicknamed " monkey snot" years ago. He's used that on Corvettes,PWC,boats and yachts, etc for decades.
@tjvalleygarage23 күн бұрын
That’s hilarious 😂 we use “kitty hair filler” which is probably similar to “monkey snot”. We also use rollers especially when fabricating fibreglass parts in a mold
@dmcnamara985923 күн бұрын
Rollers for sure. He has a fleet of Waverunners as Rentals. He actually makes more money on them when customers damage them quite often. Plastic wrap to pop molds off good hulls and for the area PWC/Boat New outlets that he does jobber repairs for. When new/evolved hulls come out,he is always making new molds. He's been doing Glass work before/after he graduated from a University in 1970s; originally as a way to finance his social life then.

I would have removed that whole panel to give better access to the inside to strengthen it before tackling the outer repair. Decent job in the end.
@tjvalleygarage15 күн бұрын
@@philstevens9914 yea that would have been nice to do but it would have costed the customer more for labour. They just wanted it to cosmetically look better 👍

Nice repair on an old tub of an RV. It needs all new graphics as the sun has chewed up what's there. Not many shops would even play around with this as it can be a can of worms.
