Really good video. You do an excellent job with clear instructions and the reasoning why you use the process. I love this method of tying on the warp. I did see a video from the Woolery that started the lashing in the center of the warp. It might be something you might want to try especially with wide warps. It seemed to handle the issue you spoke about of one side of the warp being loose and there wasn't as much need for adjustment. The other thing which I liked was that because her knots were closer to the end of the warp ends, there was less waste and in addition she didn't need to use a filler yarn to get started. I always hate the filler yarn part. Thanks for the time you spend helping us all learn.

Hi Tricia, Because the warping bar is a bit heavy for my arthritic hands, I leave my warping bar fixed to the bench, take my weight off the bottom of the loom stand (preventing movement during the warping) and wind the warp on bringing my loom towards the bar. It is then only the last bit of warp I need to wind on the bar. Also, I use Texolv for lashing on as this does not stretch at all. As this may work out a bit more costly than Linen thread, I reuse it. Absolutely love the warping bar. So much more improvement in tension and far fewer crossed threads.

It must be so satisfying to take something from bare wool thru the entire carding, spinning, dying, weaving and sewing process to a beautiful wearable product!

Again, a fantastic weaving video. I would love some of your linen cord. Could you sell 5 to 10 yards in your shop? Also, I use your warping bar and want to know if there is a hack for when the table you put it on is too short for the clamp notches? I have used it putting two tv trays side by side, but they are not heavy enough to stay in place when I begin to put tension on the yarn. Any hints or hacks from you or others would be welcomed. Love you!
