I am 72 years old. I have been crocheting since I was 18. Nothing beats Tunisian Crochet. It’s a pleasant experience watching your stitches creat such a beautiful pattern. Squishy like you’ve stated, with great drape. Outstanding tutorial with fabulous precise directions. Carry on teacher. I’m using alpaca yarn from Peru. Using double yarn as I go for a fuller scarf. I’m loving this! NO CURLING!! Yay ❤

Such a nice stitch. The more Tunisian tutorials I see the less intimidating it looks.

I❤ the architectural look of this stitch. Makes me really want to try it, but I have so much to learn with regular crochet! You are an outstanding teacher for sure.

Hi. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there is a regular crochet moss stitch that looks very similar to this. Just FYI 😊👍. Good luck in your crochet 💚

I love that this stitch doesn't curl. That's always my biggest gripe with Tunisian, though I confess I haven't done a lot of it. I think this stitch would make great placemats, a table runner, dishcloths or a blanket. So many options. Thank you so much for the tutorial

Beautiful stitch, & excellent tutorial, thank you. I think the multi yarn really does this stitch justice, not sure yet what I will make I will have to go through my stash & see what suitable yarn I have. 👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧

I love how thorough you are in your tutorials!! Thanks for bringing this pattern to us. I never really thought about a moss stitch in Tunisian. I love it and will have to use it for my next angel baby keepsake set.

Love this stitch pattern, so easy to remember and easy to do. To practice, I'll make a dishcloth, but I really like how your sample piece looks, so I may make a rectangular stole/scarf.

Thank you for another great tutorial!! I've been crocheting for almost 4 years and never tried tunisian until I saw this video. I did a little 14" square swatch and I'm in love ❤️ #4 yarn and 6.5 hook and it is soo beautiful and I am amazed it lays completely flat, no curl whatsoever even with my "death grip" tension lol. You are a KZbin gem 💎.

A scarf, bath mat in cotton/home made shirt yarn, hot pad as someone already said.. what about a pencil case?😊 Would have to line it ofc. A pencil case is basically a mini make up bag / clutch purse so those might be worth trying. Really it's versatile and seems simple enough to work up. Thanks for the tut. ☕

Very pretty stitch, Craig ! I learned tunision crochet many years ago. I've been seeing a lot of creators using tunesion hooks. Greg from 'paraphrase crochet' has a tutorial for a. " 10 stitch" tunision blanket. It's so Intriguing,. He's a hoot ! Makes me laugh😁👈

I tried Tunisian at one point and I found if you "cast on" like you do with knitting, it's easier and neater than chaining and trying to go into the foundation chain individually. I do have a question about doing Tunisian for a blanket. Unless you make strips and sew them together, your width is limited to the size of the hook. The I thought about those hooks with the wire but wondered how wide you can make it even with that. I have never used one of those. Does it mess with the tension when you lush the stitches onto the wire?

Well, dear heart, I've been making your dragon stitch hat for my great grandchildren, and I would just like to know what your head measurement for a hat is please. The one I'm making now is 22 inches in diameter, and if yours is too, I know my current hat will fit him.

i talk to my yarn too....when it gets knotted up, i curse the yarn out and tell it to behave because i don't want to cut it....the knots some how get easier to undo

How would you be able to switch colors?
@FiberSpiderАй бұрын
I believe when you have 2 loops left on your hook on the return pass, pull up a new color through the last two loops and start the next new row.
