I agree with Donna, I love Fiber Spider's tutorials, and Fiber's voice is indeed comforting. I can play the tutorial over and over while learning the stitches, Fiber just has a great way of teaching crochet. Since I don't knit, yet, I can only comment on the wonderful crochet patterns.

I have mastered the virus shawl, it was the best crochet video that I had ever seen. So many instructors and videos, it was great. I did see instruction for the virus blanket but that was not what I wanted to do. When you called the stitch a virus square, somehow that resonated better with me and now I'm back to start counting again. I love the virus pattern. Thank you for your video.🥰

Goodness! My virus shawl is good enough to be a gift. (Thank you.). So, off to the blanket. I’m using a G-hook yarn. The center never stretched out, and all I had was ruffles. Ribbit, ribbit. After several tries, I used a J for the two circles, then switched back to G, and with some stretching as I go along, it works! Looks very nice. Discontinued yarn, but ivory, pale blue, brown, and charcoal. Will send a photo.

Your instructions are easy to follow but not too slow. You are a great role model for other men who may feel that crochet is not suitable for men.
