I got my myomectomy (open)surgery last week. The size of fibroid was 16.3* 18*19cm. I had absolutely no symptoms. Only problem was, for past 1 and half year i was getting constipation. Periods were normal.. once or twice I got periods within 15 days but the frequency of getting periods within 15 days was 6months..every thing was normal .. I didn't even get a hint that something so big is growing in my abdomen. I always thought I got constipation coz of stress. I am 36 and unmarried. Finally, it's removed.

Mam, Thank you for sharing insightful information. We have shown the sonography report to two Gyn in Pune. One suggested removing the uterus so that there is no chance to come to another fibroid and the second doctor suggested removing Fibroid through laparoscopy surgery. The size of Fibroid is 6.1 cm x 6.1 cm. Anterior Wall Fibroid. The age of the patient is 39 and completed the family 14 years ago. The age of children is 17 and 14. Please suggest, what we should do. I am 37 year old weight 87 kg have recently diagnosed the fibroid in uterus size 5.5×7.6×7.2 and 3.0×3.7 cm and multiple samll also my fallopian tubes are blocked and have PCOs but i want to conceive please tell that the size of fibroid can shrink with this treatment?? Should i operate the blocked fallopian tubes by leproscopy Or operate the fibroid first by mayomectomy ???
