I don't know how you feel about cannabis but doll, it's been my go to for bridging medication switches and waiting for meds to kick in. Helps hella good with nausea and pain with fatigue. It certainly has made the difference between being able to eat, sleep, and have some focus besides the pain and fatigue.

@kristen_clark_ after 7 years of terrible pain and trying many things... I Found my cure !!! Not a Rx, all natural supplement ordered on Amazon... Magnesium L Threonate (it MUST be that specific magnesium), plus Benfotiamine (specific type of B1), plus B6 and Vitamin D3. I went from pain level 8 out of 10, to pain level 2...within 2 days !!!!!! My sister in law had the same results too. PLEASE TRY IT AND REPLY TO ME. No kidding...please try it asap.

I have had fibromyalgia for over 50 years (since very early childhood). I lived with the symptoms going from doctor to doctor for over 25 years before I was diagnosed. Nearly lost my life several times from the medication and diagnostic surgery I had to undergo as various doctors tried their hand on treating/curing my illness. My body always reacts violently to any of the medications from medical doctors. So now much older, I've learned my lesson and I do not take any conventional medications. As my condition worsens I depend heavily on natural remedies for support. Those are the only things that give me limited and short term relief from a few of my long list of symptoms, with no side effects. They help me to not have to stay in bed all the time. Gentle hugs to all who have to live with this very frustrating, expensive and eventually debilitating condition💕❤💕

Antidepresants near killed me. They told me it would help my brain waves, help me sleep better , thus my muscles would repair themselves. Nope. Got really sick. I've tried muscle relaxers, nope. I've tried everything. Ugh. It's a never ending battle.

I recently was diagnosed with fibro and on Gabapentin right now as my first fibro med. So far it's only day 5 and is making my muscle and joint pain worse, giving me more muscle spasms, cramps and now swelling in my right hand and joints with a burning sensation like it's on fire from my right hand through my arm. My Rheumatologist wants me to try this for 3 months but I don't think this is going to work for me. What a med journey this will be. Thanks for sharing your med journey 😄

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It was very informative and heartbreaking. You have been on a roller coaster. I hope u find something that helps u for the long term without side effects. I went through just one drug, duloxetine before i went down a nontraditional path. Duloxetine made ne feel like a zombie, not present in life and was still in pain. I hated the way it made me feel. So i stopped taking it. I found a pain clinic that specialized in fibro. They prescribed the green herb. My state is legal for medical use. I am so glad I tried this. It has been a big change. I would highly recommend it. I vape the flower with higher thc to get to sleep at night and then during the day I vape cbd only. This has helped me so much with pain management and has lessened my frustration at the situation and I am not so angry about it. Again thank you for sharing your experience.

Like you, I can’t tolerate any of the medications my doctor has tried me on. I have had fibromyalgia for over 35 years and it is becoming more and more debilitating. I couldn’t tolerate Lyrica. I took Neurotriptolene and don’t remember driving to work. My lips were numb. That was on the lowest dose. I don’t think most doctors realize that people with Fibromyalgia are very sensitive to drugs and we shouldn’t be started on a normal amount. We should only start on a very small dose. So far the doctors have not been able to find anything that helps chronic pain patients. I am like you and don’t want to try anymore. My doctor just tried me on another new one this week and I had severe spasms around my rib cage. I only took it 2 nights and just couldn’t bare it. The Pharmacist had told me to take it for at least 3 - 4 weeks to get used to it. I’m sorry, but I cannot put my body through any more stress. I hope we find something to help with our pain soon. Big hugs. Thanks for this great video. I have tried all the drugs you mentioned and had very severe reactions to most of them. ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

So glad you have found some help for your pain. I am in Canada and we can get cannabis oil free through pain clinics. I subscribe to a newsletter in England on Fibromyalgia and they are doing lots of studies with cannabis. They also give it free through their pain clinics. I have tried it but can’t tolerate it unfortunately. I have friends who do take it for their pain and it really helps them. Hugs❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I also had a bad experience with Lyrica - fluid retention big time and, ultimately, hallucinations. What has worked is percocet. It doesn't take away the pain entirely, but it tones it down. However my doctor's have decided that they don't want me on an opioid (which I do understand) but now I am not sleeping. C'est la vie. Not to be a total downer but I have had fibro since I was a teenager and I am now 73. For the first 15 years no one believed me. Since I was 30, I have tried a number of medications with similar luck to yours. All I can say is, Good luck.

Sounds like you’ve tried all the prescription medications for fibromyalgia. I sympathize with your journey because I’ve tried all of the medications you’ve mentioned but most of them messed my vision or my mental processing. Years ago I used to go to an acupuncturist and got a lot of relief but she moved away. So now I’ve been following an acupuncturist on KZbin that offers great acupressure tips I can do at home.

Tried many antidepressants, made me feel worse. Tried valium, tried strong codine pain killers, worked for some years but then serious side affects liver released too much morphine, so doctor said couldn't use it anymore , use extra strength paracetamol. Amitriptyline is good but affects my heart beats, for some reason, so had to stop, overly sensitive to most drugs.

Lyrica caused me to have swelling in my neck, arms, & legs. I ended up having to stop the Lyrica & start taking Lasix to get the excess water out of my body. I was at risk for congestive heart failure. It was a scary 2 months. Now my doctor & I believe that I don’t have Fibromyalgia or if I do it’s mixed with POTS & Hypermobile Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. I also have hypothyroidism so that doesn’t help. I am on Cymbalta & it kinda helps my nerve pain but I’m still trying to find answers & solutions.

When my mom was in the hospital she had to go on Lasix for excess water in her body. It's a very unfortunate reality that many of us who have one of these conditions have a handful I have generalized hypermobility spectrum disorder which is a lot like ehlers danlos. I have learned the hard way that medications usually come at a cost, and weighing the pros and cons of that is hard! Sending love and strength!
