Actually yrs ago in my youth used to watch Cops and would try and do those tests. Could never do the leg up balance test. Good thing I didn't drink. I would be toast if ever pulled over. Yrs later now I find out I do have a balance/vertigo issue and cant do the straight walk on a line either. I used to think they were fake tests that no one could pass.

I got pulled over by a corrupt DUI cop one time. He had it out for me, he had been trying to catch me doing something wrong for a while. He had a really bad attitude. He pulled me over one night and gave me a breathalyzer. I blew zero three times on the side of the road and three times at the sheriff's department. He gave me a field sobriety test. Took me to jail and charged me with DUI anyway. I've practiced this several times without being under the pressure of threat of arrest and I have not been able to successfully do a field sobriety test no matter how sober I am. I would like to pull a cop over and get them out and make them do a field sobriety test on the side of the road. And then do a citizen's arrest because they can't do it right.

But regardless- these tests are so easy 99% of the sober community could do these with ease. If you can't do it even when sober, maybe you shouldn't be driving.

Lmao... I need to watch that movie. I do not think I have ever seen it!?! When I was younger, I was unfortunately pretty damn delinquent... I got into trouble more than I would like to admit, and part of my probation was required visits with a psych. He ended up getting fed up with me and STOPPED SHOWING UP!?! Not my proudest moment looking back on it... it was my fault for purposely trying to push his buttons. Now in present times, I of course feel really bad about all of that!!! Strong adherence to procedure and not bending to the idea of "obvious" is what avoids lost cases and lawsuits. She was borderline disorderly, but not violent, and this trooper likely was giving ber the rope to hang herself.

that's a bad one, if you have any ear problem, your equilibrium will be off! Bad back, muscle spasms. Some people won't even realize they can't hold there leg up for very long, let alone to the count of 20. She is frustrating, could be her way of tiring him out.. I didn't see the end of this, where is it? I just want to know how it ended, it was pretty tiring watching it..and now left even more frustrated. Cause I don't know the ending! Can someone help me out and share what happened?
