The Baltany "version" of this watch is fantastic, and about a quarter of the price. Nice but just too pricey for what it is. Great review btw.

You're paying a premium over other DD watches for it being assembled in the USA and the movement being a clone of an ETA 2824. Being assembled in the US does nothing for me and there are other just as good but cheaper movements. It's like buying a bag of carrots from M&S instead of from Aldi. The actual carrots are the same but some people feel better buying carrots at M&S for a premium telling themselves that since they are more expensive they must be better than the cheaper carrots.

Nice review 👍. I like that style of watch, 38mm is ideal for modern use, but it is a bit thick, under 11mm would be better. I guessed the price would be about £700, and that isn't unreasonable. I just bought an old San Martin in the sale, similar dial, but a more modern flat crystal and a quartz movement, it is 10mm thick and wears beautifully.

Nice watch! Normally, brown isn't my colour but this dial with the slight distressed effect is quite cool. Finally they start to use sapphire crystals. I found it a little frustrating to see a couple of watches from them that I liked that only had mineral crystals.

It's a looker, but quite a bit out of my price range. I am somewhat confused that they call it the A-11, when it's more closely related to the Dirty Dozen watches. The A-11 spec always had central seconds and not the small seconds.

Looks like a great version of the DD design to me. Cheap in comparison to the vertex version. Well judged size at 38.

Far too pricey. I had a new Timor dirty12 when they revived the brand which was 100$ cheaper.

Nice peace. But it cost about 800.00 for a watch with a clone movement. The Baltany version is very good as well especially the price also.

A good job you saved the price till the end or I would have turned off, it's a great looking watch but the price slot puts it alongside so many better alternatives, like Hamilton for example.

I'm not sure they might sell more if they did, but hats off to Praesidus for trying, I'm just not convinced many people would fork out £700 quid for a Praesidus whatever movement it had.

I dont think its only the movement that makes it so expensive. I wanted a desert field (vh31 mecha quarts) from them for a while now and just that 200USD price tag is too much. I think these guys depend too much on the "military heritage" and "made in USA". I really like this watch, and a lot of there other watches but its just too expensive for what you get. i'll just go make to militado like the cheapo that i am :(

I’ve owned a praesidus watch before, but I felt this model was a big miss. Paying for a high beat movement on a small seconds watch makes no sense to me. What are you gaining other than a silly price? And for $875 that lume needs to be better.

A bit large for my taste, I prefer a 36-37mm watch. That said the Swiss movement is relatively meaningless for me due to the method/formula the Swiss use to label their goods. The lume is lacking and in looking at the price, this isn't watch I'd bother with.
