Yeah they are great alarms I wish we had more them because the current ones just shred your ears The earlier genesis alarms were loud enough to alert people to a fire but they didn’t shred your ears.

My high school had the integrity alarms. Compared to a lot of other alarms, the lower pitch sound of the integrity makes it not as loud

@@iowansirenrecordings2454 the current Genesis horns sound like a Wheelock Ns or system sensor spectra alert classic horn or Wheelock ZNS or Wheelock Mt or As and all other Wheelock alarms. The old Genesis horns sounded like the first generation and current integrity the 892 Series of horns and the 792 Series of horns.

They are I wish they are common nowadays because the current line of Genesis have the high pitched whistle like horns. The reason why EST changed the Genesis Horn sound to the high pitched whistle like sound is because the early EST Genesis with the integrity like sound was not loud enough to alert people to a fire and had very little time to escape which can be deadly. Yeah you need loud fire alarms to alert people to a fire so you can get out of the building fast and stay alive but it’s not worth popping out ear drums or scarring people with special needs with fire alarms
