What a wonderful video, I have just retired after 34 years of service and haven't fished for awhile. Planning on taking my grandchildren out next week and needed to catch up on some good tips. Your videos have help remind me of something's I've forgotten. Thanks so much, GWG (Go With God) :)

Hey, thanks for making all these... I'm 53 and just now starting fishing. We have rainbows up here in WA state. Been fishing for a week with the fish taking all my worms, so I thought I would pop on here and see what I am doing wrong. Your vids have been very helpful! Diane

I pretty much do it the same way but I remove all the skin, and get my favorite fish fry from the store, use canola oil to fry, and finish off by dipping them in ketchup right before inserting them into my mouth..lol....YUMMY, YUMMY, trout are just as good if not better that way, as catfish and crappie. thanks for the tips.

I agree with putting the left overs in a bag and freezing it cause in some places there are bears and cougers to worry about. freezing helps.

how many trout per person would you recommend? In nj, the average stocked rainbow is 10.5 inches and 1/2lb. How much of the fish's weight is meat? Our daily limit is 6, and I would like to feed my family of 5. Thanks and great video god bless

James Treimanis I always try to plate 2 trout (4 fillets) per person...but one is ok just add more rice and veggies. Trout is kinda gourmet anyway not like bream where you pack in as many fillets as possible before taking Malox.HAW

How do you keep the trout fresh from the time you catch them until you are ready to clean them at home? The fish in this video appear to be intact, no guts removed. I want to make sure the fish don't spoil.

Throw the remains in a bush it will actually either feed animals or the plant
