Just gotta say dude, we definitely love how you actively express your positivity and appreciation for the world, but also your wisdom and ability to learn and grow is really inspiring. To that point, I'm so happy you've been more attentive in spiking fish as soon as you shoot them non-fatally. It was mentioned by you a few videos ago that some people were commenting on your inability to do so in previous videos, and it honestly made me feel your love for nature that much more. It's also so incredibly easy to dismiss people's opinions online, especially when they can be construed as negative, but you took others' views in an honest manner and that's just a blessing Dawgie 🤙❤

I am 73 years old and have been shooting a bow since I wad 12.. Try to remember that when shooting into water to take light refraction into consideration and to aim lower.. Place your three finger hold directly against the lower side of arrow and to always find same anchor point on your face, where it is corner of mouth our against cheek bone.. Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzbin.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older. But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Love your videos and sense of adventure mate. The content is awesome and the viewer feels like they’re there to experience things with you. Thank you for what you do and please keep these fantastic videos coming. All the best to you and Maky. Ps. I’m an advisor bowfisherman in Canada, a small tip for you to up your success rate is to aim low. I heard you say “I aimed lower and got him this time”, thats the true key to success in bowfishing. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, when referring to firewood for survival, when you think you’ve gathered enough double it and then get even more,LOL, the same applies to bowfishing, aim low and when you think you’re low enough to low some more. Much support and respect for you and your content and thank you for all the hard work to give us a great quality show to experience right along side you.

Not sure if you already figured this out or if someone else has already mentioned it but your hand placement on the string is allowing your arrows to kind of flail or flare out the tail of your arrow and that will affect the accuracy of your shot. Even though you're using the string release you still want to grip the string at the same location as you would if you were pulling the string with your hand and positioning the arrow in between your index and middle finger so the notch of the arrow is exactly in the Y of the string so all the force is pushing straight in line with the arrow and the string is not putting any input in an upward angle on the back of your arrow. I am sure there is a much better way to describe what I am trying to say but I am half asleep and my brain is not firing on all cylinders... Hope this makes some sense.. I love everything about what you're doing on this channel and your energy and enthusiasm for life is epic and contagious. Keep doing what you are doing my friend... Cheers
