Shouldn't have watched this after work, I was not prepared for the test. Good that you explained it, but it gave serious school memories. I'll probably have some dreams now about forgetting school supplies while running late for class. Very thorough guide, very well done. MY favorite colors were the skeleton animals, mainly because that desaturated darker blue is my favorite color.

Also if you think animal experimentation is bad: I keep track of the animals I need to sell off by renaming them “sell123” making it easier to shove them all at Hayden 😂 he’s got so many baby animals of mine with no real names

That's so funny, because I named a few "sell later" and then just starting using the random name generator for those I knew I wouldn't keep. I have so many animals named Pancake, Peep, Bo, and Felix. 🤣

What happens if you breed for a tier 6 in the last days of the season? Does the offspring's color depend on when the parents were bred, or when they are born?

Seasonal animal colors are determined by the day the parents are fed the treat. If you feed the treat on the final day of the season, the tier 6 baby will be the previous season's color (example: bred in spring, born in summer, but will be spring coloring - green).

I had a similar problem with my horses but not a full year!!! That's insane! Crazy thought, what if you tried multiple barns and filled them all with y our T5s and breed them. What if it's something funky with one particular barn? I am not sure what else to suggest...I feel for ya, that really sucks! :(

And it takes forever to make! Unless it's raining, I put all my animals outside, and most of them usually find grass. Otherwise, I stock pile all the easily foraged foods like water chestnuts and berries and feed those to my animals. You can also hoard eggs and hard boil them for quick meals, or feed the cows/chickens their raw eggs and milk. :)

Color doesn't matter, it's the tier level. :)

If you breed two animals of the same color and tier, (say, two black cows) will you get a different color offspring, or will it be black?

The offspring will generally be 1 tier higher than one of the parents, and if that new tier has multiple colors, the color will be random. Watch the video around the 6:55 mark for an explanation and examples.

does it do anything if i reset my tier 5 + tier 5 animals before the new one is born for a tier 6 ? or is it set in stone as soon as i give them the treats

Hmm, if you mean you want to remove the parents after giving them treats, I don't think it will let you if they're expecting. And I'm not sure what would happen if once you see the baby born, you revert to the save file just before you feed them the treat or just before the baby is born - not sure when the gender/color is determined.

@@BuckeyeBunny i tried it for a while yesterday and it didnt work, i mean it could have maybe worked like shiny hunting in pokemon but nope XD i always got the same results so i just assume here the tier of the babies is decided as soon as you give them the treats

When you visit Hayden's shop to adopt animals, click on the gender symbols to choose between male (blue) and female (pink), and then confirm.

I have bred my Gold cows (tier 5) with each other 3 times already and it always produced another tier 5 gold cow :( Currently trying to breed a tier 4 (silver) with a tier 5 (gold) to see maybe just hopefully it'll work T_T

Some of the golds I had to breed MANY times in order to get that seasonal tier 6, but once you get one 6, you can buy a second from Hayden. ♥

Autopetter 🤣 I lost it when I read that. You don't have to pet them daily, but it does raise their heart level. I say just focus on petting a few every day, and eventually, they'll all be leveled up.
