I'm a plinker, and there's nothing more satisfying than that "thwip" you hear from shooting an air rifle. It's addictive. After seeing Jamie Chandler load a 10 shot mag break barrel, claim it's easy, then shoot, I have no reason to ever complain again.

I have a Gamo Maxxim Elite .22 as well. It's about as accurate as a 12 bore with the same shot spread! I wouldnt bet on hitting a can at 15yds never mind game. Wish I'd never wasted my money.

after using a shotgun for years, I have gone back to a top-quality air rifle Fx wildcat very accurate. now all my bunnies. and others one clean headshot one or two heart shot. nice and clean. no wasted meat, no sudden lump of lead shot jammed in teeth. more skill required stalking all part of the fun.
