I was not alone, there was always at least one other person on set (safely socially distanced) to operate the lights, smoke and camera. @@thecoon3036 You don't get usually good villains anymore because you can't have the mary sue-protagonist to fail as a deep character. Good example was in Avatar: Last Airbender. You had Zuko who went from a villain through the entire series to one of the most important heroes and had an actual story behind his villainy. But he as a character worked only well because it was invested much energy in this character and prominent places for him to evolve. Imagine you would make a good villain in a story where your protagonist is a mary sue? This wouldn't work because this villain would immediately devalue your protagonist and let yourself counting more for the evil to win. But this don't really work in Fantasy especially, where the win of the evil is always a bad thing (In Sci-fi it's more different between the villains, but also because the authors of such stories put more energy in them) So yeah ... I hate to say it, but modern viewership and customer behavior for movies, books and series are the ones who ruined villains. The movie industry and even many authors are only answering the calls for simplistic and mainstream heroes and villains. And we as customer demands them because most people aren't willing to put anything into the series to think about. This is mostly why we don't get good villains anymore. Because it's more profitable to make the movies as simple as possible. And this is directly going to the customers who don't want to think about the story of movies or needing new stories to be told because explosions in action movies and jumpscares in horror movies are easier to cash with because most people are dumb enough to fall for the same tropes told all over again. I write stories in my freetime actually, darker sci-fi-stories. And I put much effort in my villainous species and cultures. I put way more effort into the villains than the good guys in the story because immersion is very important and we know how toilets work or how we eat/drink and how our western culture is shaped and so. With aliens we don't know this, so I have to work with them way more than for human civilizations. But I also know that my effort I put there wouldn't bring me as much money. I woulod definetely earn more money as an author if I write horror, having some randoms walking around and some supernatural beings hunting them only because the premise "Our explanation is plot". It's very sad to see the evolution of media based around fiction ...

Stupes, I can tell you had a lot of fun with this one! It's awesome that you got the chance to do your dream project, and I'd say it's an astounding hit! Your lyricism is on point, as usual, and I love how the set and costume design merges so well with the retro '60s feel of EG2. It's also cool to get a bit of context as to why you like villain songs and playing antagonistic roles so much! It's something you legitimately do very very well, as many people other than me have pointed out. I'd also like to note that I'm definitely writing and posting this comment of my own volition, and not because a team of minions went to my house and said they'd throw me in with the laser dolphins if I didn't say something nice about this song.
