LYRICS: CHORUS 1 I see a figure in the corner I see a shadow on the wall I see a new world order Balanced on the brink In a blink it’ll fall to the- I see a close of an empire I see a new architect I see a fuse to be set fire Forged in the wire Pulled tight round your neck by the ICA VERSE 01 The balance of power Is a delicate thing But cometh the hour Cometh the king Here at the summit The pendulum swings ‘Cause like any puppet The world’s on a string Invisible glove with the globe on a thread Just one man can cut it, can plummet the web It is said on the back of the eyes of the dead Is a terror in black with a tie burning red With the blood that was spilled in a chilling whodunnit Your cupboards are filled there’s no pinning the culprit Assassins just pale when he’s kicking the buckets Of madmen and magnates, the sick and corrupted There’s a shape within the shadows There’s a chill up in the air No, your status doesn’t matter Empty will or billionaire In a palace or a manor Manned with killers at your care If you’re pencilled in his planner Chance is he’s already there Perhaps that new butler who walked past your henchmen? And brandished that tumbler of port no-one questioned? So hand in your number, report in to heaven Those passes when punched, well they’re all forty-seven CHORUS 2 I see a figure in the corner I see a shadow on the wall I see a new world order Balanced on the brink In a blink it’ll fall to the- I see a close of an empire I see a new architect I see a fuse to be set fire Forged in the wire Pulled tight round your neck by the ICA VERSE 02 Listen, thanks for all the warnings my security's been beefed up several times since 9 this morning checkpoints at every corner, lasers in ventilations I've got bodyguards for bodyguards, no way he'll penetrate when every unit on my team's supreme, completely redeemed in worthiness which means I'm impervious to the schemes of mercenary services my servants are subservient, don't move unless I say so can't refuse my influence, half your crew is on my payroll 47 better lay low, or he might get 86'd let's put a bounty on his head, that crass assassin makes me sick if his barcode doesn't scan, we just need to price check him blood spilling on my designer tiles, "clean up on aisle 7" look, I'm not afraid of the ICA I'm like 1000 floors up, they'll never find me... wait is that a person lurking in the curtains? no it's gotta be the bourbon 'cause I'm certain my observers would've heard him that would've been quite the feat for him to sneak past Oh my God, it is him, I need to think fast guards! someone stop this vigilante please, I have a family... is this the end? No! It can't b- Your plan was clandestinely running the show But your clan is destined for coming to blows With the man who’s the best in expunging his foes Whilst casually dressed in their underling’s clothes Security forces may find that it’s naptime Scored by the faint lullaby of your flatline Falling away as you find that you can’t fly Or simply bake you a pie with a landmine It’s the ominous addition that was hidden in your condiments Topping you for thinking that you’re living without consequence Grip around the populace whilst sitting in your opulence You built your own sarcophagus, now that’s what I call providence So ‘til your hour chimes you hide inside your ivory monuments Build your tower too high don’t be surprised when there’s no oxygen Where that power lies, yes there’s a price behind predominance And forty-seven’s on the tag you’ll find upon your shopping list CHORUS 3 I see a crack in the hourglass I see a line in the sand I see a world that will outlast All of your plans When you fall to the hands of the- I see a tide that is shifting I see a hole in the ark I see curtain is lifting Picking off targets Now ripped of their masks by the- I see a figure in the corner I see a shadow on the wall I see a new world order Balanced on the brink In a blink it’ll fall to the- I see a close of an empire I see a new architect I see a fuse to be set fire Forged in the wire Pulled tight round your neck by the ICA

"I see a..." Spectacular dedication from an artist keen on homaging the video game series he was inspired by! Whereas "The Second" was about how Agent 47 could be *anyone and anywhere*,this one expands on how his actions affect the world as a whole, how the use of his vast arsenal of tools and skill can have an everlasting impact on...pretty much everything. The fact that all lyrics are "emotionless",determined and boppin, at the same time is spectacular o-o I also love the different scenarios built on the apparently simple "Stupes#(n) is killed by Stupes#(n+1)",not to mention the different costume choices ;) The segment of NemRaps was fantastic as well,besides great rhymes,lyrics and speedy delivery,it's also an AMAZING blend between singing and performing as the character. (I also really like how Stupes has a red tie with a dark,cold background and suit whereas Nem has a blue suit in a cosy decor...I just like it X) ) All in all,this magnificent song hits all the marks! It truly does! ... And the fact that he survived *two* assassination attempts from Agent 47 proves the Stupendium is the most powerful character! ;)

1. Masterclass as always with both the tie-ins AND the callbacks, and I love this sort of techno-metal-pop style, it's completely different to The Second yet just as fitting. 2. Nem absolutely NAILED his performance, he was rocking the blue suit as hard as you do 47's too, but I feel lyrically his verse lacked enough of a punch, not sure if it's the delivery or the lyrics themselves but it's only noticeable to me because right up until the end of it his verse is *super* smooth. 3. this REALLY makes me wanna hear a Dishonored 1 and/or 2 rap from you, especially the first verse, that immediately made me think of Dishonored 2.

0:44 Definitely my favorite part. The lines are nothing special themselves, i mean they are really good, but so is the whole song. It's the delivery that really gets me. The pause and emphasis on 'thing' and 'king' are chilling.

Can I just say that 1:28 to 1:32 is wicked sick? Something about that style of lyric-motion syncing is just so kick-ass! Same with 3:32 to 3:40! I hope there's more plans for similar in the future - or maybe I'm just not watching closely enough... Anywho, another top shelf song! I just hope that shelf doesn't fall on me by accident... 1:39 to 1:48, you seem to hand yourself a nice glass of Port here... And I highly doubt you managed to get a body double (if you did, i'm _very_ surprised you managed to find someone so handsome to replicate you!) So... how did you do it? It's such a seamless piece of work that I genuinely can't tell how you pulled this editing trick off. Your videos tend to be packed with amazing editing and/or animation, but this one in particular catches me off guard.
@TheStupendium3 жыл бұрын
It is two separate takes. When I hold the tray out as the butler I'm actually placing it on a hidden black platform with exact positioning markers. There are also markers on the tray for exact placement of the glass. Someone else is stood opposite me and lifts the glass on a sound cue. In the shot where I lift it the tray and drink are already in the exact marked positions where they were when I was 'holding' the tray. So I have two takes where the glass is in the exact same position and is lifted at the exact same times, making them easy(ish) to stitch together. :)

Hitman 2 rap focussed on the ethereal side of Agent 47, making him more than human and something to be feared akin to the grim reaper. Now this song shows he's something more than that, because there is no one who can escape him when his target is set, the whole thing feels like a call to battle as he is on the hunt and setting fire to the fuse to the bomb which will destroy his enemies whole world.

Someone's been busy! I love how your sound has developed through the years. Your endcard monologues that are so sweetly on brand, the stunning visuals that fit perfectly between a tribute and a re-imagining, the rhyme schemes that get more and more complex with each new release, and the way you seemingly reinvent the original media into something wholly your own. This was brilliant not just musically but also in terms of video edititing. After so many casual rewatches I only now finally register that the last time "a new architect" is sung its Diana turning towards the viewer from that specific mission, and its a fantastic choice because of how its near the very end of the rap and end of the story. It is simple yet brilliant from at least 3 different angles.
