I saw an interview with Todd Howard as he toured the set, picked up a pile of papers and said each page has different information on things like crop rotation, water management and all this information about running the vault day to day. He said it was amazing the little details the showrunners put into the set.

6:02 - Remember, he literally just told someone he wasn't actually Knight Titus and it backfired on him. He's worried he can't tell her. Edit: I think this episode does a great job showing us why even though Maximus is willing to cooperate with Lucy, he's hesitant to be completely open with her. He lives in a world where it's hard to trust anyone, and everything he has decided to let his guard down it doesn't work out. Like in the scene on the railroad tracks. You yourself keep saying you don't feel like you can trust anyone, why would Maximus? We have seen more than once that Maximus does want to trust and confide in someone. Even when he's finally in a position to sort of get even with his bully, he hears that guy's story and no longer has the heart to pick on him, it was never really his way to do that in the first place. He sees his empathy as something that may get him killed.

I love how just about everyone Maximus meets knows more about how the armor works than him.

Given his life experience, he's more focused on who he can be as a Knight rather than what he can do technically. He states as much when he lets Titus die. But this is also evident with his technical knowledge, for example his poor performance in the school setting.

It's funny how many people think Maximus should tell Lucy the truth immediately. Even though she's a total stranger, Thaeddeus just left him to die, and he's never been able to trust anyone except Dane literally his entire life. It's a classic case of idealism versus what people would actually do in that situation.

Did you notice what the lights inside the Hawthorne Research Center were doing? They were in a sequential flash order designed to direct anybody who come in straight to that trap door.

Its very strange to "bury" a Pipboy, a valuable piece of tech that is no longer being manufactured, and is still highly useful for Vault Dwellers.

I love that the subtitles trick you into thinking that the bridge scene may end peacefully, it gives a name to the usually nameless fiends, it names him Jarvin 😂 so you think that he’s gonna be a new character

Maximus hasnt redeemed himself for all the lies, but he saved Lucy on the bridge so he can be counted on, and in the Wasteland that goes a long way.

I cannot wait for your reactions to the last 3 episodes!!! One of the main reasons is you are a Fallout games fan and you get the various references to the games. That being said, this show it so good that even non-gamers love it. I so look forward to your reaction to what's coming! 🤥

You didn't see Maximus last episode because Lucy was traveling with the Ghoul. Remember the player character is only allowed one companion at a time.

@@Centane Well, if you ever go to a comic-con you could cosplay as a vault dweller. Went to dutch comic con past may and there were loads of people in vault costumes, some were really really good. Just to an idea to make it even more real for yourself :)

The fiend girl on the bridge was a minor character in Fallout 4 called Cricket.

Not really. That character's name was Rink. Her design was based off of Cricket's. Reason? idk, but I just attribute it to how the game series' NPCs sometimes repeat/recycle the models used whenever you have those random encounters or you're on a radiant quest.

You're right, it is really close to the game, its actually rather surprising after so many game adaptations that have been butchered, to see Fallout done so faithfully. Alongside The Last of Us, the Sonic movies, and the recent Super Mario Bros movie, theres real hope there might be more.
