You need a better design. maybe consider rearranging your base camp area, so that you have the space that you can actually use your tech yard, to work on your vehicle. giving a wide enough birth, so that your not fighting for space with your own buildings. its a necessity to have a good work space to build and modify your tech. Armor is great, as long as it doesn't slow you down too much. but you have to get enough weaponry to take them down quickly, otherwise they will continue to wipe you out with numbers. good wheels with a balance of speed and traction are also essential. even smaller weapons with enough speed, can do a lot of damage against harder hitting enemies. its all about getting enough damage on target in the quickest amount of time possible. Hard hitting weapons are great, but if they are slow and take a long time to fire again, you'd be better off with less damage more often. finding the balance is key. Good luck!

Seeing you fire all those shots from too far away... "He's so tanky", no, you are out of range. Weapon range is quite short in this, at least with the guns you have.

I don't even play this game and after the first 50 or so shots I was pretty sure that the weapon was out of range.

1. you need to update to the new update they did a tech reactor rebalance 2. don't put your cab out in the open. when your cab is destroyed you have to respawn so protect it

It's a shame you kinda have to surround your cab with armor. I think it looks best when it's out front. I wish they changed to have a "core" block that you could protect instead. Then, if you lost the cab, maybe you'd only lose the mini map and displays of tech health and battery status, but you could still drive.

you have $2,000 use that money to unlock a better cab. Then you need a better frame. This game is all about building that better tech and use the buffs from the frame, buffs from the battery, buffs from efficiency blocks and what you mount directly to the battery, and how you mount all that stuff affects the buffs on the equipment. You can see what the buffs affect with the high light mechanic.

I unlocked a better cab early on but then I didn't have the materials to build it. 😸 You're definitely right in that it's all about the tech and working out the various buffs within the constraints of your tech reactor.

@@Glidercat Been watching another youtuber that has concentrated on this game and you are in for some cool treats with some pretty powerful tools for mining and weapons. He has gotten very far on completing the launch missions plus exploration. You can find rare blocks at some of the random structures around the map after you capture the structure. I won't spoil anything for you.

@@coastalgaming1594 It's definitely very deep. I tend to feature a lot of different games on my channel each month and I spend a lot of time off-camera researching and trying upcoming games. Unfortunately, it's not possible for me to go as deep into every game as I'd like to and still keep up the level of variety I'm shooting for.
