They tried 5 different Jockeys, same story !They nead to bring Ryan Moore from Ireland same Owner, very difficult horse to ride,i think the only one that can handle this horse by getting out of trouble and staying close to the pace !

Fierceness has improved alot. Before in a race like this without the lead , he would crack like an egg when he moved to challenge the lead and the outsider didn’t hand it to him

Improved? The only time he improves is after he throws in a clunker. His racing pattern is as clear as day, seeing how this horse can't put in two solid performances back to back, I expect him to return in either the travers or penn derby where he'll probably lose by 20 lengths minimum, after that if Todd Pletcher gives this horse a chance I could see him winning the classic given that he should be well rested

Fierceness was not on the lead in the BC juvenile and he trashed Muth in that race. He has never needed the lead to win. He just needs clear sailing somewhere near the front. Very comfortable horse pressing/tracking from slightly off the pace. And when he brings his A game he just wins.

@@ivanboesky1520 he had an easy sit in the deathchair right on pace. Did no work to get there. When he moved to challenge, the 20-1 outsider collapsed almost immediately. What I’m saying is if fierceness does work to get to the chair, and on his inside is a decent horse like muth, that does not fold so quick , fierceness breaks like a pu**y.

Johnny V Had His Head on a Swivel The Entire Stretch...Did Not Count How Many Times He Looked Around But it Was a LOT...Even When He Finally Located SL He Was Still Looking Over His Shoulder...Kind of Strange...He Claims He Went Wide Purposely to Force SL to Go Wide

I would be very keen on Sierra Leone for the Breeders Cup Classic. The big race in the UK yesterday had a shock result but the winner benefited from the fast pace up front. Sierra Leone will be able to use the likely sprint to the first turn by dropping in and then powering down the outside in the stretch.

I love me some Prat . But please please please put Tyler Gaffalione back on the horse . I still believe in my heart SL is the best 3 year old out there and the Best 1 1/4 classic distance horse out there as well . Skip the travers run him in prep at Delmar . And have him ready with the right rider for the breedercups . I’m not getting off this horse . He sitting on a big one

I agree Mike I'm a huge fan he's the beast a fighter I hate n never liked Fierceness he's inconsistent Overated horse Jekyll and Hyde He's a whimp of a horse as soon as he gets touched or bumped he's finished I wouldn't bet one penny on him Why would any one He wins then losses coming in 15th place and 7th place Don't like him never will Trainer said probably won't run in the Travers he needs more rest What a joke a month isn't long enough Why other horses a month is plenty They know He won't win bigger field I'm sick of all these Fierceness bandwagon people make me sick he's not no Best 3yr old he's not even top 10 my opinion Sierra Leone is the best everyone will see

They have tried different Jack's on SL. Same result. Nonsense! Both Pratt and Tyler are great Jack's! I'm not a fan of Chad Brown but if SL runs in Travers I would not bet against. That's what happens in racing. Just when everyone (bettors) give up on a horse they come back at higher odds to win. Book it !

Alr, yall. Prepare for a paragraph. Now, after this race, I’m not sure what to think anymore. But as a longtime Sierra supporter, I must say…what do you mean he ain’t good? Or isn’t the best? Sierra Leone has finished in the money for his entire career without deviation. And only one of those was 3rd place. Whereas Fierceness…any trouble and he’s out. Sierra was the only horse who could keep up with Fierceness. He was the only one gaining on Dornoch in the Belmont. I agree that he is not the greatest. But why in the world are y’all calling for his retirement? (Different comment said that). I’d sooner call for Fierceness to retire, especially after that KD performance. Though I would never say he needs to retire…just that I would call for his sooner than Sierra’s

Agree. At the very end of the race Fierceness was more than repelling SL. That race could have been another 1/8th and SL was not getting Fierceness.

I watched it again, didnt think he was bothered by Batten Down unless, unless he couldn't see out of his right blinker. He may have hesitated when Batten Down veered towards him??? I ride, and I never did like seeing blinkers on any horse.

It was impossible to Win for Mr Sierra in 6 Horse Field as deep closer. Just not enough contesting of pace in front. He , as long as there is 8 horses, easily Win Travers or in PA. Fierceness is obviously not training on to improve from 2 year old. He's OK, but not into it. I think he was trying to get to the Grandstand get a Hot Dog or a hug. Yep

A perfect ride is where you keep your horse in the correct position for his talent, steer clear from trouble, and bring it home to WIN, period. Number of winning lengths has no issue here. The ride was perfect.
