*IDEA for your cedar shavings!* Get (or make) some little _Cotton bags,_ put your shavings in them with tie string closures. They make good sachets for warding off critters ( moths, mice) in your closets and dresser drawers. Package them up and sell them on your site. I'd buy some from you! I've been watching since you started, ❤❤❤❤❤ your work!

Been following you for a while but just saw this video. First...stunning bowl! After watching your complex pieces like the pump, it's equally nice to watch you turn a simple bowl from naturally beautiful wood. Second...your filming and editing skills are light years better now! Third...love the energy and contagious enthusiasm you bring to every video; you've really ramped it up. In short, you were great when you started and now you are amazing! Thanks for sharing you with us.

I made a bowl out of cedar once, about 35 years ago while in junior school. I had actually planned to log into KZbin today and see if anyone else had done it and, low-and-behold, the Google Spies have beat me to it and offered me some cedar turning from one of my favourite woodturners. I haven't turned anything in nearly 30 years, and back then it was metal (hash pipes in highschool); but years later, older, and wiser I find it so satisfying just to watch. Thanks for sharing Todd.

Just a tip, not that you need one, you do very fine work. Keep a piece of offcut wood back from what you are turning, and practice burning in your mark in that, since some burn easier than others it will give you a good indication how long you need to burn for. Keep up the good work!
