Jezus man. The videography is so outstanding. We take so much for granted these days. Could you imagine watching this 20 years ago? How mind blowing that would have been...

I don't know what's more amazing. The footage, the surfers, or that they don't completely destroy their bodies or equipment doing this kinda stuff. Awesome stuff!

Unforgivingly Brutal but Beautiful them Waves!!!!!! Failures are Fun too - it is boring watching all them videos where noone dares to Fail..... and again, Shot Brilliantly! Thanks PS in my previous comment I missspelt ENVY, apologies

Wah thank you so much for this vidéo! Not usual to see that, generally wipe outs are cut from vidéos, it is interesting to understand the errors.It is clear that the pros hold back as much as possible the gear despite the risk of injury. My favorite is Baptiste at 13min. Thank's great job!

Hube credit to the sailors, eqhipment manufacturers and to you Paul for demonstrating how resilient the gear is. Only only one visibly broken mast. Great collection of Nature playing with them all.

Love your "body of work" to quote Kai 🙂. Can you make some vids showing the complete wipeout to recovery? The human struggle for survival, especially in conditions with no rescue jetskis running around 😱

"The Pain and the Pleasure" or "Suicide Squad"? Possible titles, Paul. Good work indeed! A real horror show which gives 'percentage' sailors (like me) a glimpse of the suffering these pro's go through to amuse us.

What happened to the guy at 5:52? Looks like a leg or something caught in a foot strap? Great video. Gnarly conditions. So bouncy. The waves really throwing that day too.

Hey Paul. Great stuff. How can we ID you? What is your sail number ? You are definitely living the life. I have taken a hiatus from sailing because i let my self go. I made an agreement with myself that if I could do 20 pull ups in a row, 100 push-ups and run 5 miles without stopping, do 50 burpees in a row, and drop 50 lbs, I'd get back out there. Well.as of last week, that goal.is accomplished. Time to get back.

No one ever films the guys after the wipe out, struggling to save the kit. We want to see the guys swimming and crushing everything in the rocks !!! this is so frustrating to watch
@windsurferАй бұрын
If any of these clips had something interesting like that I would have left it in. There were no rock incidents involved in these wipeouts.
@allaflecheАй бұрын
@@windsurferoh ok, sry then, I got a little carried away :P
@windsurferАй бұрын
@@allafleche All good mate.. I also like seeing the aftermath. Just about all these crashes involved the sailor doing freestyle to their gear and then water starting away. I thought about leaving it in but after the 5th time it all looks the same so cut it out. I'll always leave anything in exciting!
@henryw374Ай бұрын
what % of these involved a trip to the rocks I wonder?
