I was 13 when this came out and used to listen to the lyrics "we don't want to get a job", thinking how I didn't have to worry about getting a job, just playing some FIFA when I got in from school. How I miss those simpler days

I started with Fifa 94 and then did Fifa 98 on my PS1, but this here was a whole other league. I played this so much. There was just something about that Robbie Williams start and then into the menu where you might then hear Apollo 440 - Stop the rock or Real Big Fish - Sell Out. This was a great game.

2024 here, FIFA 2000 still is one of the best FIFA/FC games ever made, especially this iconic intro theme. This is also the ONLY ever game to feature "EA 1" to "EA 4", "Special Guest" and of course, the classic teams like 1973 Anderlecht, 1966 Arsenal, etc...

only due to technical limitations. at least according to what modern game leads have said about history. and when i look at old games and see the countless ads for helplines that cost 5 or 10 quids per minute i cant really argue. some companies intentionally made their games so cryptic and difficult to push people to call and buy guides. fifa was in the lucky side that they really couldnt monetize the game those ways. now theyre taking back with interest.
