in the earlier versions, there would be no back curtain, and the woman would be kneeling rather than sitting. I don't think that equipment was designed by a woman

@fifthdimensionmagic I don't get why magicians are so uptight about people not finding out the technical side of how they design their feats. You don't see airlines worried about people learning about the Bernoulli Principle hurting their business, and I can tell you as someone with an degree in Engineering, I can still appreciate a well-designed bridge or building, so why all of the paranoia in the magic industry about people learning about the engineering design principles behind their craft?
