I've had people come tapping on my car window in parking lots quite a few times over the years. There's no reason for a man to approach women for help when there's any kind of business open right there and he's standing in front of it. I used to just crack the window enough to ask what they need. I don't even do that any more for many years now. Smile, wave, point to the nearest building they are standing right in front of, and drive away. i've driven off with them still banging on the window and chasing the car. That said - there are countless ways to be taken by surprise and someone just seems decent and needs help. It's a very scary world out there. Could happen to any of us.

@@Dustandfuzz I did that once when some guy was trying to break my door down and get in in the middle of the night. I woke up to hear him banging on the door and yelling help me, help me! And I had no clue what was going on, but figured it sounded bad either for him or for me. I grabbed the phone so I'd be ready to call, and asked him what he needed. He told me to let him in. What is someone like that even thinking? 😂 I told him I'm calling the police to come help him. He kept banging on the door and said, "Don't do that Ma'am. Let me in." I told him the police are on their way to help him.

Get away. Then phone cops to check the area where they were approached. Never ever ! put yourself in danger. Just not worth it. Ladies, girls, BE AWARE OF RISKS, Nowhere is safe. A couple of self defence classes would be an advantage too. You only get one chance at life, and even the most gentlemanly male could have malice aforethought.

Unfortunately, they were already in the car. Granted, they got out and got back in with this case, but I agree... normally don't get in the car...even if they have a gun pointed at you. If they try to shoot you, it will bring attention to them. If they have a knife, you may get injured trying to get away, but that's better than anything else that could happen to you. The thing that's weird is that neither of them tried to get away in this case to get help. I guess they were afraid to leave each other alone with the guy, but IMO, they should have. I think the one left alone would have understood.

Parole should never be given to anyone who has never exhibited a great amount of remorse or proof of such. This criminal's escaping was bad enough but when he was caught, he greatly resisted arrest. I'm also certain that correction officers and inmates who dealt with him could see he was still dangerous. Parole boards need to get back to the business of keeping criminals who continue to act as criminals behind bars. True justice calls for considering how victims/victim family members feel about the crime committed against them/their loved ones. Yes, laws properly made can be used to consider whether a person gets paroled, but let the crime victims/family members also have their say in the process.

I have been the victim of violent crimes and I only got compensation for one for loss of my personal property but not for him trying to kill me with a knife and another incident that happened to me was that I was raped by a guy that seduced me and the cops blamed me because I had invited him in to my apartment and they said I asked for it...who the hell asks to get raped??????? The most recent incident that happened to me was a well known drug dealer/pusher in this town beat the living shit out of me and the States Attorney to this day has not pursued my case! Their best chance at escaping was when he drove back to town. When someone's driving with two people in the front seat, even armed with a knife, they could had caused him to wreck his car. The alternative, complying, was a fatal mistake anyways. You are extremely vulnerable when driving.

I met this guy who treated me like sh1t but saved my life at the same time. He showed me how to act, what to look for, how to look, how to act, how to talk, how not to talk If I hadn't have met him. Somebody would have ki||Ed me. I always made sure to have my doors locked and windows up. Driving with windows down will get you in trouble too. I had more than I can count try to get me to roll down the window or open the door. I also had 2 different people, groups, whatever grab my back door at night and try to open it of a night after 11 pm. Once at a red light and once at stop sign. I took off. I'm pretty sure I drug the first one but I kept going

I mentioned this before in the comment board of a previous video of this film that was taken down, but pay attention to what Nancy and Charlotte are wearing when they are attacked: 1. Nancy is wearing all black to symbolize the loss of her first husband while Charlotte is wearing all white to symbolize her upcoming wedding. 2. This was going to be their last time together before the wedding, so they decided to go all out in terms of how they were presenting themselves. The outfits they wore symbolized their beauty and femininity that maybe things were looking up for them. This was a time for them to get all dressed up to celebrate their feminine nature both outside and inside (hence why they wore slips under their outfits). 3. When this dickhead Ellard orders them to take off their clothes, they are being forced to remove not just their dresses and pantyhose at knifepoint, but also any dignity and self-respect that they had on them along with all the happiness leading up to a wedding that was never going to happen. So, you see, as you watch from 9:01 onwards pay very close to the symbolism of what Nancy and Charlotte display on their final "girls' night out."
