Was he evil? She wanted a divorce for no apparent reason. She wasn't battered or depraved, and had a good life. The wealth was apparently his, so she lived off it. The kids were grown up and taken care of. She just wanted out. She took pot luck and came out worse. He didn't want the divorce, it was all her doing.

No apparent reason? According to a BOY. She WAS depraved. A good life according to who? Again a little boy that's never been in the situation. The only reason that the HIDDEN wealth was his is because SHE did ALL THE REAL WORK IN THE MARRIAGE so that he didn't have to do squat. She wanted a life of her own that was VALUED by those around her that she DID EVERYTHING FOR. You're smoking pot if you believe this. Sorry to hear this, all you ladies!!! I went through a divorce with my second husband, I guess… Don’t count the first!! We had a son together, and a custody battle, but we both had nothing, because we were migrant farm workers a lot of the time!! so that part made it a lot easier! Though, it was not fun at all and wicked at times!! Before we broke up, I was walking out the door to go to a women’s shelter locally with our son in tow!!! I heard my ex-husband pick up the telephone and was calling the police department!! I didn’t wait around to find out what he was doing!! He accused me of sexually abusing our son!!! That was a dirty trick!! Ended up, having to go talk with a woman, police officer, who had no right to question me!! And then, for me to see my son, I had to go for supervised visits! But then, when we went to court in front of the magistrate, at least he had some common sense that we needed to go to counseling together, my husband and I. No criminal charges brought against me!! My son had also had gone into a foster family, because of all this!!! I’m sure his dad didn’t feel very good about all this?!?! At least I hope he didn’t!!! The position he put our son in, besides myself, though he probably was happy about this!!! Well, his first marriage he & his ex- had 3 boys, but he didn’t get custody, etc. He was an active alcoholic & smoker. Well, I have forgiven him though…

You know what. I thought I got screwed when after 14 years my ex husband took everything from me. But now I know God saved me and gave me freedo.freedom.. which is worth more than silver and gold. If they walk away. Let them walk. It's God's way of bringing you out of the devils snare

Great movie! Sometimes you find love when you’re not looking for it! Her boyfriend was a great guy so sweet! Maybe stuff doesn’t always make a person happy spending time with the one you love can make the person more happy you can’t buy love with gifts all the time!

William Beer is the name of the Judge in real life. There is a movie based on the entire story. The mistresses name was Barbara Santimo and his wife’s name was Dora Beer. Really interesting movie. The name of the movie is Double Standard.

No communication..... this is a HUGE problem in a marriage. When there is no communication, everybody lives for themselves...not for each other. Another word, this is caring! America is a country of Divorces!

America isn't a country, it's a continent, and divorce happens this way EVERYWHERE. Good try though.

I defended myself against a very narcissist professor from Berkeley CA and his legal team and I won! I enjoyed defending myself because I was in the right! I prayed and God blessed me. Don’t fear man! Scripture is very clear!
