Urijah, you've worked hard all your life to become such a great champion. At this point in your life, this experience was to serve you that violence is not always the way to resolve conflict. If it had been anyone else or under any other circumstances you would have died, in the way that you described it, you should have. But you survived it. Think about it. most of indonesians are very nice. But the most young indonesian guys(or girls) who like to spend time in pups, bars or discothek are mostly "the bad seed"of society. Why? because places like bars, discothek and alkohol is just not Indonesian culture .And some of these guys get aggressive after small amount of alkohol. And you there as foreigner should watch your move, keep the" wanna be" attitude away, it will just invite envy and let them feel challenged which then lead to conflict

August 2014, I was In Jalan Legian (Party street) This tall, black and muscular local dude was chasing this red head white girl. I was in Taxi and drunk. When I saw the scene I jumped out of moving taxi and chased this local dude, grabbed him from shoulder and asked him "Why are you chasing her". He pushed me back and asked "Do you want to kill me, where are you from?" (he was confused coz I look Balinese as well so he could not figure out if I was local or tourist) while he was asking that his right hand reached his pocket and all of sudden his mates grabbed me from the back. I am like thats it. I am dead. So for the last time I try to break free from his mates and have a go at him. As I am struggling to break free the taxi driver pulls me and pushes me taxi and drives off. Looking back from car window I did not see the Redhead girl. She had run away. You go to Bali, you better be strong and be able to fight.
