Thanks for interviewing me Esteban! It's awesome seeing how the documentary turned out. Killer Instinct means so much to so many people. Everyone has a story and it’s awesome to hear. For me, this was the project that transitioned me from QA to Design. I owe so much of what I do now thanks to Killer Instinct and the opportunities given to me by Iron Galaxy and Microsoft. Both Adam Heart and James Goddard really believed in me and helped push me to do things I never imagined. I didn’t go to school to become a game developer. I’m just a kid from Chicago who grew up playing fighting games his entire life. To be a part of something that has grown to become so beloved by fans and to leave my own mark on its legacy is super overwhelming to think about. Feels absolutely unreal.

Killer Instinct has got to be one of the few Fighting games with a truly Iconic style. Nothing will beat the hyped up announcer, the kickass characters, the rocking soundtrack and those insane combos that are made to set your controller on fire.

Growing up, I always steer clear of that game. The combos looked complicated, plus that was one machine where you had line of quarters for a bunch of people waiting to play. This is the only fighting game I never played. I remember walking in FYE and this game had people around that game cabinet like it was a sporting event. So after seeing this documentary I'm downloading on my pc to go at it.

I just recently found out about it myself (who the hell bought an Xbox to play fighting games on? lol) and I'm having a blast. I think if more people knew about this game and how good it is there could be a bit of a revival.

I liked how they brought back the music that changes as the match intensifies. The original ki did that when doing ultras or dangers.

Man I'm HOPING and PRAYING that they bring back "ETERNAL CHAMPIONS". That's a classic fighting game. 😀👍 #SEGA

My band members and I use to beat the crap out of each other after practice on the reboot. I've been a fan since the first game, but really loved how the 2013 reboot brought in people that never played it before. We'd run random matches all the time, and always had fun!

I loved this doc. I'm a huge fan of KI. Thanks for this P.D: I hope we have KI2 in the following years. P.D: pls create a Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinct. Just imagine a Smoke vs Fulgore or Cinder vs Scorpio, that's would be pure gold

Me and my friends once got the cops called on us because we were playing Killer Instinct hook up to a giant stereo and all they could hear was all these combos going off, love the memories.

Great documentary and it is one that we really needed. Killer Instinct is such a criminally underrated game that sets itself apart from traditional fighting games (just like Smash Bros.) which makes it feel so fresh. I believe that a new Killer Instinct game launching on a more well received console with a standard business model and of course, Game Pass, would make a big difference with KI making a huge splash. A new and flashier game engine would be great too. I tried KI early when I got my Xbox One in 2013.
