My best DnD moment was this (It’s from ages ago so I sadly don’t remember who was what class.) A character who could use fire helped another character make a jam with a super over the top sour lemon. Character a) “You need to have some of the jam because you helped make it.” Fire Character) “Uh uh no way nope.” Me) “c h i c k e n” They then rolled to shove a whole one of those lemons into my mouth and got a 15 I rolled, a little worried because I had really shitty luck. I got a 20. I just stared them in the eye and chewed it, smiling.

This is why the best thing to take after a few levels of Fighter is Rogue. At the very least you can switch to 'quiet mode' while the other armroed fools are trying to beat a simple DC 10 and just can't because it turns out wearing that much metal is impossible to stealth with. Meanwhile being an light armored Fighter means you go from being a killing machine that anyone can hear coming a mile away to Rambo. Moving, sneak attacking and generally being a Ninja without having to take any Homebrew or Monk into your mix. Though storywise changing your clothes would be a moment of making a steath check I think as anyone who's ever had to wear armor knows taking it off is just as loud so you could end up half naked andbe more like if Adam Sandler or Jack Black had played Rambo. ....What a mental image.
