When they start their rage they get an empowered strike type deal but it depends on the weather Then at 14th level each weather effect gets mildly powered up and when they rage they get to *choose* the weather I like the idea of a Goliath weatherman barbarian who summons a lightning storm whenever he is enraged. One major use: "Well, this weather wasn't predicted. So now we know there's a wizard that needs lynching, somewhere." Pathfinder has a few abilities for perfectly-accurate weather predictions that create situations of "Well, this was outside of predictions, therefore, it's magic." Which can be pretty useful information to know.

The best advice I heard from my friend regarding DND weather is "Look up the weather in a random year for a city in an environment close to the kind your in game city is in, such as Chicago, boom, you have realistic weather for the entire campaign that no one will be able to predict."

The first D&D campaign that I got to play had a npc who wanted to be a weatherman and was trying to invent it. The guild had a habit of waking up because of him to just beat him up to get him to stop so they could sleep. One player joined in and one time was able to be first to get him. The player had fallen asleep in the forge on the first floor while all the sleeping quarters were on the second floor. I have no idea how the npc lived now that i think about it but my friend painted such a hilarious scene that it seemed like out of a cartoon.

So the story on the front lines: A group of powerful Wizard Tritons rise up again the surface Archmages of Bale. The first casts Tsunami. It get counterspelled. The next Tsunami gets casted but that too is countered. The 3rd Triton Wizard steps forth to summon the 3rd Tsumani but again they are foiled by a counterspell. The Primemage of the Tritons, Tra'rish, steps forth having enough of this, and casting his own Tsumani. But the High Archmage of Bale counterspells. Then through rapid reactions and legendary reactions, the Tsumani goes away, then comes back multiple times. However, the huge wave remains in the end. As the Tsunami rolls toward the Archmages, doomed to be sweeped away, 3 turns later the nearby Warlock remembered they had a slot left and asks the DM to retcon so they can cast Counterspell. Which they go back and of course they roll high and are able to counter the Tsunami! But then 4 more pop up because the DM doesn't want this fight to go on anymore. - End Story - In total: 14 Tsumani's; 10 Counterspells

In my dnd universe magic is very powerful but only very few people can handle using magic as it got pro and cons for useing magic a example is glamor magic you can make yourself more attractive to others but the negative is that your body will rot from the inside the longer the spell, also magic is limited by your mana and you can increase your mana through strengthening your mind through mental tasks and reading overtime
