It makes half your games, assuming you win half your games, you feeling bad losing to such hard snowballing. Plus it incentives super early cheese strats that allow snowballing.

If Nasus and Aatrox go even in lane, then scaling will take effect, BUT if Aatrox gets an early kill over scuttle fight or something, all he has to do is freeze the wave. And she is very good trader early game due to her passive. I played so much games into nasus and she can 1v1 him if ur skilled a bit. He literally deal no dmg if u time his q with u e. I just love riven, fun champ, skilled and she penetrates enemy team.

@@Em3nt4l3R yeah, actually fun champs like darius, starting from gold elo are useless, bcz new champs/items are broken, to name a few: viego, fiora, yone. Viego somehow beats darius in 1v1, fiora with 2 items is unkillable, and yone 2 items has 100% crit, so balanced. Imagine giving that option to shaco, building 2 items for 100% crit chance, just saying, that would make him permabanned, like old kassadin. And yet, yone and yasuo are ok, still high banrate, but yeah that is in the game.

@@againsslayer7339 if you take into account rammus w doublig his resistances and aftershock (which is pretty easy to time your ult when it happens) then after both aftershock and w wear off rammus ends up with negative resistances, so all damage he takes is basically true damage but increased, meanwhile trundle gets around 120 of both resistances lategame, that's why trundle is the biggest rammus counter, i main rammus and play a lot of trundle so i know how these interactions work

I think they suffer because of their own strengths. Because of their own versatility, if they get fed they can pretty much take on almost anyone. But if they aren't, they just feel useless because they can't deal enough dmg or sustain enough. And thus can be kited to oblivion or out damaged, ending up being vulnerable to everyone too. They either keep falling short or doing enough to handle so much stuff thrown at them.

I have played league for about a decade, a lot of what I have learned is just...known? felt? I haven't ever had to explain anything to anyone, so I have never attempted to put it into words. Bruisers operate by a series of rules, and they change depending on the champ. If they can force you to play by their rules, you will lose. You will lose pathetically. But the moment you operate outside of the bruiser's rules, they have no other options, no other tools. Stridebreaker has changed alot about that, but the dash is being removed. In teamfights you are trying to get all 5 enemies to line upin your set of rules,and if they magically do, you get a youtube highlight. But when they don't, you end up uselessly dying without getting anything done.

08:10 this is the sort of frustration and distaste I have for the vast majority of the newer modern champions like *_Yone / Viego / Senna / Samira_* - many of these newer champions really feel like *_they get to play by different rules and break them when compared to everyone else_* by having some of the most *_hilariously ridiculous combination of abilities and effects in their kit all at once_* - they have so many tools in their kits to accomplish whatever they please and solve every problem they could face, it feels like these champions have *dozens of different outplays hard-baked ready into their kits* and you barely have to work to achieve them - and no matter what you do or how you do it, you always look good and overpowered while doing it

Counter Yone: Grevious wounds and positioning. Counter Viego: Positioning and team coordination Counter Senna: Just win faster, stop dragging on games and focus objectives. Counter Samira: Just CC her when she comes in. Literally just treat her like a Katarina or Diana. Dealing with them just requires you to upgrade your understanding of the game. It's no different to how Garden and Master Yi stomp low elo. But I will say that Viego is the one that is very skill matchup, if you're worse then the Viego player then you will lose.

Later on you went a bit more in depth in the fighter subclasses, but without a small list or so. It might be an idea when describing them in more detail to show them on screen, maybe with some pro's and con's. That's it. That's all I can critique this video! Some Champions can't even be called specialist anymore, for example, now that Lilia has a similar Playstyle to Singed and S11 udyr, they deserve a class of their own, runner, the only class to maintain a high movespeed while in combat.

I mean sett did come out recently, I just think they have been favoring other archetypes, mainly assassins, and that we are probably not going to get big bruisers like we used to get. The best we shall get is like a sett every 3 years, and a Gwen every one. For the most part my biggest issue with fighters are divers. Even as a lulu, whose entire kit is designed around countering dive champions, it’s still frustratingly difficult to get the Camille or Jax off your ADC. Divers tend to be so sticky that an ADC can spend flash to dodge the initial dive and champions like jax can just press Q again 3-4 seconds later.

I'm juggernaut main and I think the class is fairly fine though definitely not a solo carry; I really need an engage tank duo with heavy CC to win fights in this high mobility high damage meta! The problem with the class is that it is force bound to the nightmare that is Top lane which is imo the worst lane by far with the least impact or fun. I wish I could play juggernauts in another lane. Hopefully, you do a video on each lane as well as I think it's even more important than class.

the best class at the beginning and easiest to start snowballing with in lane, but the one that becomes the most irrelevant when behind. even adcs when behind can still try to kite and deal dps. and assassins can still try to get just enough damage to oneshot. a fighter behind is just going to die after hopefully unloading his combo for maybe a quarter of the tank's health because the itemization. the best thing that fighters do is counter assassins. easy cc, just enough tankiness and sustain to survive single burst, and enough burst of their own to rip open a squishy assassin. best time to pick a fighter is to counter an assassin pick, especially in mid lane. they suck vs tanks, but they thrive in the squishy matchups mid.

Yesss, Class discussion! So many different classes in League makes designing weird, along with balancing. Between the two subclasses of Fighters, I'd argue the Divers are the stronger, since Juggernauts are often immobile and tend to struggle without a lead of some kind. Juggernauts can take forever to get rolling (*cough* nasus) but a Diver needs one kill, one item, to start wreaking havoc. Can't wait to watch the video at 9:00 tomorrow!

Divers though tend to scale poorly into late game because of their single-target action and historically aren't doing so well right now (think Irelia or Pantheon--falls off HARD). Juggernauts because they're better in teamfights I feel are better--and of course they do still excel in 1v1s or 1v2s. I feel it's hard to be completely useless on them. For example if I'm behind on Aatrox or Morde and performing badly I'll just go tank for the rest of my items and soak up a lot of damage for the team and be useful that way. Whereas if divers fuck up their single-target choice they've generally screwed over the teamfight. Both juggernauts and divers have a snowball effect IMO if they get a kill (think Darius: first blood darius means ff15), however, a fed juggernaut just scales better than a fed diver. Just my opinion though.

A couple other points! Since fighters have such crazy 1v1 potential and sustain while lacking in teamfights, often they’re good as splitpushers, enhanced since most take teleport. That’s one of the more interesting ways to “carry” a game, get fed then split push and draw so much pressure that your bot and mid can ramp up themselves. Furthermore, most fighters’ power peaks in midgame, where they’re strong enough to beat down opponents and sustain in teamfights, but everyone hasn’t bought grievous yet and you don’t get insta-melted by full-built mages and ADCs. I had a game recently where I got super fed as illaoi but by late game I was getting bursted down before I could even finish the jump animation on my ult, even with shittons of health and several defensive items. That’s also why it can feel impossible to carry against a fed botlane since marksmen scale a lot harder than fighters. I’m a fighter/juggernaut main and I love being the massive 1v5 raid boss stomping through enemies, it’s such a good feeling when that comes alive

I think one of my favorite league moments was when an enemy Nasus was completely fed. I was playing Ahri so I thought maybe a Rylai's Crystal Scepter might help. That was an understatement since I slowed him on top of the charm and he couldn't even think about getting into q range even with his w slow. Since the rest of their team lost their only champ with tank stats we could easily take them out and we won. Just because I happened to nerf the Nasus to baron speed.

really interesting view on their role in the meta. So the fighters role is to provide a strong 1st half to a teamfight, absorb cds, deal as much damage set the rest of the team up to clean up. I never viewed it that way but i think being aware of just that fact helps with your approch to dealing with them,

The "damage creep" piece is so true. Power creep in terms of mobility in this game is insane, and every new champ is totally overloaded in terms of the tech/mechanics/effects they possess. There is definitely room in the 150+ champ roster for champs with every combination of tools, but newer champs always seem over-tuned and/or have too many things in their kit for no good reason.

the summary you gave around 12:30 - 12:45 is the sole reason why I found playing Yuumi on fighers so rewarding. Yuumi can give most fighters those extra bits of utility they are lacking. take Garen Yuumi for example. & bear in mind I was doing Yuumi & Garen before the pro's even started doing it. I put GLACIAL AUGMENT & the Everfrost onto Yuumi, with ingenious hunter for maximum active item cooldown reductions So we had a Garen with a ranged frosty slow and its on cooldown every 18 or so seconds. We also took Mikael's to give Garen +1 cleanse on a ≈70 second cooldown. So basically ready for every serious team fight. (+redemption) & before the item reworks it was even more disgusting, as the old Zekes convergence gave Garen an AOE SLOW that was as strong as Rylai's. Shurelyas wasn't a mythic either & to top it off, the Garen could take Knights Vow & it would give him the bonus movement speed whenever Yuumi was attached. Granted the item reworks kinda gibbed some of this build it still works a charm. We turn Garen into a tanky monster no champion could kite or burst down, no champion could outrun or chase, & nobody was able to deal with this, especially when they were so used to seeing the pro's version with a squishy Garen building lots of damage & autopilot Yuumi's just slapping a ton of AP on for funny looking heals, but when we did it, we just stuck lots of tank stats, & utility onto this juggernaut who does just enough base damage to be a threat to the ADC, & it was just a matter of running circles around them keeping the entire enemy team distracted while our 3 other team mates took objectives and won the game in the background XD & Yuumi can still give many other fighters the tools they lack. She can give Jax a buncha wards to leap around with. A load of heals & slows so a Singed can double proxy in the enemy base indefinitely, even better as Singed doesn't need to rely on Rylais & Liandries combo to do damage now he has more options. & of course plenty of movement speed for the rest of the juggernauts that are usually easily kited. my god its a wonder other players still aren't abusing these combo's to death ;-; they are still too stuck in their way of believing yuumi is just a auto pilot + get carried by other team mates kind of champ, but you can build Yuumi to create several funnel strats you'd have never imagined could exist.

There is nothing more satisfying than playing a bruiser and being amped up by Yuumi. She gives you everything you're missing while making you do so much more damage. Good Yuumi's know to attach themselves to the melee top laner rather than their ezreal because the terror of a Sett/Aatrox/Darius buffed up by the kitty cat is unfathomable.

Yeah this is a good summary. I like playing Dr Mundo Nasus and Urgot and even if I win lane hard I still struggle to help in teamfights. Dr.Mundo is to single target with not enough burst, Nasus gets hard kited and focused, and Urgot gets CCed out of his w range and killed.

Bruisers have the highest base stats and very strong kits, meaning early game as long as they have level advantage they can casually fight 2 or more enemies. They have awful scaling though, and later on mages, assassins, marksman, even tanks end up much stronger. It is a double edged sword that forces players to push their base stat advantage while they can, hoping they can command enough of a lead and close out the game before the enemy carries out scale them, and it explains why they can feel weak and overpowered at the same time, even in the same game. A 2 item Aatrox can comfortably solo the enemy mid, jg, and bot with 1 item each. A 4-5 item Aatrox gets comfortably solo'd by a 3 item marksman/mage. The major risk of power distributed this way is if the bruiser loses early game. This is probably why top laners complain about jg more than other lanes, because their 1v1 thunder dome is so important in the first 10 minutes and strictly determines their power for the rest of the game. Bruisers, if shut down hard early on, have by far the hardest time recovering and being useful for the rest of the game, especially if their lane opponent is another bruiser.

I think that the best summary for why a bruiser can be the most broken is that they can truly 1v5 when fed. they have a lot of damage but also a lot of resistances/health. Think a fed darius that just pentas your team in mid or late game. Mages/ADCs/assassins are still very squishy even with insanely high damage (not to mention mages lack the mobility to initiate a 1v5, and assassins are bursty which can leave them fucked when the fight goes beyond the initial burst and extends into a longer trade, and adcs depending on their range either get bursted down as a long range immobile champ or lose in the middle-of-the-fight brawl like a samira or kaisa), and of course supports are supports and tanks are tanks. But bruisers with their kit have the best chance of 1v5ing which can make them great for solo carrying games. eliminate the squishy carry and then move onto the rest. but of course they have many-a-limitation as well. just my 2 cents as a bruiser and assassin main

Easy Answer. You can react to fighters, or at least most of them. They require setups or states of high damage to be in peak performance and have obvious and easy counter play. Darius? If you’re the one he’s stacking his passive on run away. Until 5 stacks the passive doesn’t transfer. Renekton? Bully him off of CS until

I feel like battlemages are pretty good at dealing with fighters, since they usually take a bit longer to kill and have more self peel than other kinds of mages. Artillery mages rely on their range, and both artillery mages and burst mages rely on a single CC spell to kite, while every single battlemage except Karthus (who kind of just wants to die honestly) has at least 2 ways in their kit to self peel and survive, especially since some of them even take phase rush.

You should've also mentioned how fighters (mostly juggernauts) have been the most reworked class. Full relaunch: Trundle, Warwick, Aatrox, Pantheon, Mordekaiser, Urgot, Irelia. Minor rework: Darius, Garen, Skarner, Nasus, Shyvana, Wu Kong, Xin Zhao, Diana, Rek'Sai. Upcoming rework: Mundo, Udyr, Shyvana.

I think one problem with fighters feeling overpowered comes when theyre fed enough to carry a fight. This essentially forces you into a catch 22 where if you teamfight you get wiped as 5 but if you split up fighters can mow through you even easier. On the other hand a fed adc often enough can be countered by a lot of focus or splitting up because 1v1ing an adc is a lot easier than 5v5ing. If an adc is forced to stay with his team you eventually get ahead in exp because fighters rarely require any support like adcs do. Fighter items often scale linearly as well. Adc items scale exponentially, since crit scales with damage and lifesteal and attack speed all at once. This means fighters can get significantly ahead with a few kills while adcs need much more gold to start seeing big results. On the other hand, most fighters lose their scaling lategame when marksman all of a sudden have 100% crit chance, lifesteal, tons of damage, tons of attack speed and you as a fighter get like +40 attack damage on your last item. And then when you have to teamfight them theyve got all the peel in the world because their supports have scaled too. But with games mostly ending by 25-30 minutes these days I think adcs dont get their time to scale and it feels like youre being cucked by fighters early and mid game pressure every game all game.
