Born and raised in Philly. I lived in most parts of Philly. Dealt with the cops all my life. Used to work in the emergency department of a major hospital in Philly and dealt with the cops every shift throughout my shift. I’m 60 and miss the police of the day. I retired 10 years and moved to Florida. I don’t miss Philly and never went back.

The “green tip” ammunition, officially designated as M855 by the US military, is a type of 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge loaded with a 62-grain full metal jacket “penetrator” projectile. While initially designed for military use, it has become popular among civilian shooters and law enforcement agencies.

From 2010 til 2018 , I lived and worked in Philadelphia and I always thought it was an action jam-packed city. In 2016 experience a very scary situation. I was coming from inspecting a building in the middle of November around 11:40 pm on a very cold dark night. My GPS stopped working and I got lost . I suddenly found myself in a very dark, very narrow street. I had my bright lights on and in the distance I could see something blocking the street. I thought I was seeing things. As I was getting closer I saw a group of people blocking the street to stop my car. I looked around and there was no way I could drive back. I considered my options,. One, get trapped by the thugs and die by their hands or drive my car as fast as it would go and run them over. I will face the consequences later. I decided to press the gas in my car. My car got to 67 mi. in a few seconds by the time I got closer to them I was driving at 89 everyone of them ran out of the way and I kept my speed until I was close to a well lid highway. Someone threw something at my car and for a second I thought they shot at my vehicle but I guess it was a rock by the dent it left. No cops in sight when I needed them. A few weeks later I turned left on a no turn street and sure enough there was a cop pulling me over to give me a 145 dollar ticket. I nearly died and no cop in sight for miles made a wrong turn and cop with light and all.
