I couldn’t disagree more with your assessment of Saddleback members. I’m a former member so I will speak up. I came to know Christ at Saddleback. I was supported in my walk by gracious, loving members. While a woman teaching from the pulpit is a broad interpretation of scripture it is not strictly forbidden. My current Pastor and I discussed this at length and agree that the when it comes to authority then the role should be held by a man.

Saddleback needs to learn also how to follow Proverbs 15: 32 32 If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding. the issue with SaddleBack it's geared toward women and gayish like men and it's not sustainable for the lost or new members Stacy wearing ripped jeans and babbling is why women have zero place behind a Pulpit ,In 1st Timothy 2:12, Paul said, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet that message is for women bible study not a place for adults who are looking for christ, it's to much golly gee beta/ female yapping not preaching spoken word is not a service it's a art form of rap she should not be up there period, save that for the weak, look it's a great place to drop your kids off that's the upside, from past experiences I have had leaders in that church ask me to lead and pray over folks but never invited in their homes for real fellowship it's just what saddleback does, they Fake it to make it" typical but unGodly now san Francisco is in the house" let the parades begin Hard Pass
