Hi Leslie Wonderful class on hip stretch.What an excellent quote at the end "and the day came when it was more painful to remain tight in a bud than the risk to bloom into a blossom".I just hope i don't break my neck trying to blossom into a headstand.LOL thanks god bless.

Just took this class combined with the 19 minute Upper back and hips, and it was so wonderful! I had drifted away from yoga for some time, but thanks to you I found my way back again:) And both my body and mind sure needed it:) Thank you for such good classes and for sharing your warmth and personality with us:)

I'm au pairing at the moment and there are four kids, two of who are babies and were crying all evening! So I only got to do a quick fifteen minutes before bed but this still got my hips open - especially the lunges and the frog pose. Thanks for this one!

I am currently doing more of a strength training (yoga-inspire of course...), so I am doing your shorter classes to warm up and stretch afterwards. I liked this one a lot, particularly the lotus-twist-stretch :)

Loved this! I haven't commented yet but I followed along with most of the 90 day challenge and am so grateful for all that you have shared with us. Would you be able to do a quickie video for stiff knees? I've been having some knee trouble from biking and my problem may be that I haven't been properly stretching out my quads/hamstrings. Hi Lesley, thanks for this class, really helps after a long day in the office :) Could you please do a upper body (upper back, arms, shoulders, sides) stretch class to do when muscles are tense after upper body workouts (tennis, boxing etc)? thank you!!!

Great hippie quickie! I am having a lot of issues with shoulder and chest/pec flexibility. My lumbar spine is super flexible and my thoracic area is sooo tight. I think my lumbar area over compensates and gets pretty sore after doing backbends especially wheel. I drive all day and sit at laptop in between stops and ride a bike for fitness. Could you do a class focusing on opening up this thoracic area for cyclists and looooong commuters like me? Thank you!

DrJoberry Sweet I think I need to hire you to title our videos! Hippie quickie is great! Yes, I know exactly what you mean about your back. I have the same issue. If I don't take time to stretch out my quads and hip flexors, my lower back gets compressed...the body always takes the path of least resistance! I'll do a video for that! :-)

dear lesley, thank you millions for all those yummy videos and quotes, lately i'm feeling slight pain in the sacrum, then I discover I've been practicing three legged down with a rotated hip, is this the only cause for sacral bone pain, the pain is mild and i dont stress myself, honor my boundaries, should I be worried? I'm sorry to hear about your low back pain. You are correct in that it's best not to always externally rotate your hip when you lift your leg. I don't think you need to be worried but be sure to keep your hips level most of the time in three legged down dog. Practicing bridge pose will help your sacrum. However wait to practice it if you're experiencing pain in the pose. And be sure to spin your inner thighs down as you lengthen your tailbone toward the backs of your knees. :)

How do you do that move at 8:08 without your knees hurting? My knees were on their sides and i couldnt bare it!

***** Try to put some pillows or blankets under your knees and make sure that they are even with your shins (not lower or higher). If it still hurts, then skip it and take thread the needle or another hip opener.

+christinemccluskey23 Yes, Downward dog is good as well as any other inversions that you can comfortable practice. Also Malasana (Garland pose) is good to create space. :-)
