20 Minute HIIT Yoga Class (Cardio with Balance Fun!) Day 25. Today's video is a HIIT class, but there's some fun balancing in it as well...I've been receiving a lot of positive feedback that you're enjoying the challenging of balance poses although some days are more successful in balancing than others. I'm happy to report that my experience with balancing is the same and today you'll get to witness some of my wobbling. I hope it does't throw off your balance too much!! Remember...have fun with it and if you fall out, just keep going. I have a friend who sometimes says when she teaches..."did you see that trophy in th back of the class today? That's right...there's isn't any trophy for 'best yoga performance', so just breathe and enjoy your practice!"

so challenging, I still don't know whether I love or hate Hiit classes. Maybe it's a bit too fast for me but I slowed the video and it was Ok.

I know this is a HIIT class, but I have to admit I paused for a while to further practice Bakasana-and I'm glad I did! I was able to hold it in its full form, knees pressing into the upper-arm, for a little over 5 seconds! Just earlier in this challenge I could only hold it for a second, and I'm so happy to see the improvement!! This is why I love yoga. Thank you for another wonderful video, namaste 🙏😊💕

Hoooly cow I LOVED this practice! It was perfect timing in the challenge. I felt like it was a challenge but one that showed me just how much I have improved in terms of strength and flexibility in jut 25 days. Yesssss. Thank you, Lesley!

It's true. Some days the balance comes easy and some days not so much. Also find it can be a side to side thing too. Some days I can balance forever on my left foot but fall out of pose on my right, and vice versa. Just have to go with the flow of the day.

I loved what you wrote in the description. It is a great reminder that you don't have to "master" (whatever that means) the poses. Doing our best and slowly gaining strength and flexibility (in body and mind) really is "mastering" yoga. Balance practices sometimes require some flexibility in the mind - in some days I am just not getting it and sometimes I will bang my leg on some furniture or something and the frustration creeps in. So it is nice that you reminds us not to worry so much about the poses and to have fun :)

Day 25 got the best of me. I am tired from yesterday’s workout which was more than just the Fix class and a stuffy nose this morning. Should of been better. On to Day 26.

Yes the HIIT classes can get pretty intense...tomorrow's class won't be as intense!

You're so creative with your poses, like the side plank + tree pose + chaturanga thing that I could barely do. 😅 And all those warrior 1's got me tired! It was all good though.

Loved the challenge ....never done a tree Chataranga before oo erh that was a tough one for me. Still practicing to stay up in Balakasana for longer than a few seconds. Need to see your video on technique as still a challenge even after a lot of practicing. Thanks a mill. See you tomorrow.

i used to practice bakasana regularly and got fairly good at it, now its not so consistent and i find it difficult, I wasn't able to do it today, is this normal? wonderful class though, as always, thanks Lesley x

Hi Alice! Yes, it's totally normal. I have a bit of a struggle with bakasana at times too. If you start practicing it again more regularly, you'll find it won't take long to feel confident doing it again. xoxo

Really really love these classes! Thank you! An observation: I find when you tell us to breath at the very beginning and when you tell us to turn onto our sides at the end, there is very little time to actually do those things. You say 'take a couple of deep breaths' but then move straight onto the next action. I would really appreciate it if you could leave a bit of a gap here! As said, love the classes. This is not a reflection on the quality of the classes, just that tiny detail I've been noticing through out. : )

220123 This kind of HIIT is the reason I don't like HIIT. 😂 I know I don't like the Vinyasa sequence with W1, no! Actually I do, if I am moving with my own breathing cycle, but that is rarely the case. I end up just waving my arms and legs about and getting frustrated. At 16 minutes, I'm moving on to something else. Thanks but no thanks. Namaste. Maybe next time?
