What it means is you can think about something without getting emotionally attached to it and wishing you were in the past or if it’s a negative memory wishing revenge of some sort, just being able to think of those negative or positive memories and not having an emotional reaction is serious wisdom, some Jedi shit

Steps to rewrite your story Examine your habits. Instead of focusing on what you want to change, turn your attention to the bad habit or habits that lead to you wanting to learn how to change yourself. Practice every day. Focus on self-reflection. Surround yourself with good people. . Keep taking risks.

You need to have multiple areas of growth because you are not gonna grow in each area every single day. I lifted heavier weights today. Guitar was a bit easier yesterday. Everyday I grow at something. N it feels daaaaaamn good N lemme tell you the 3 main things in life: Gratitude. Purpose. Growth. N ofc for initial mindset- the monk and the river story may help.

Don't be afraid to be who you are. You don't have to become somebody else. Be your best self. Improve in the areas that we recognize as individuals where we need to grow. Sometimes that does require a transformation but be true to you. It is good to have goals, dreams, ambitions, and ideals. Strive for your own personal best. To reach for your own fullest potential. Otherwise, there is the danger of becoming superficial in trying to be someone different than who you were meant to be. If there are things that need to change that you individually recognize in your life, things that need to be different it is okay to work on those areas to improve you for you. We all have areas to work on individually in the pursuit of becoming our best. We all have flaws but that is okay it makes us human and relatable. But don't ever feel the pressure to have to become somebody else. You were meant to be you. The world needs you to be you, seek to be the best version of yourself. I do like that idea of creating new habits, forming new thoughts to grow as an individual. Sometimes we want things to change but are we willing to take the steps to make that happen?

The thing I find so beautifully interesting about humans, mainly the "this isn't real science" folks, is that science is life and life is science. What we see as superstition formed as stories from our ancestors are just colorful ways to explain what modern science took years , centuries to figure out. Lol like it's so interesting. They've been said that this is a hall of mirrors and how you look at the world, is how it looks back at you. But I get it. There are 7 schools of thought. Which is helpful for the whole as you need different eyes looking at the same thing differently so they can work together to figure it out. Peace everyone :)

We all CAN change without falling back. Most of us choose to believe we can’t. Some of us don’t want to be rich, and changing your thoughts about your health can be the most challenging, since the evidence otherwise usually screams for attention. 😄 It’s all ok, but accept that how you feel is always your choice. Deliberately direct your thoughts and your reality will change. This isn’t even up for debate. You’re creating your reality whether or not you’re paying attention to how it’s happening or making a choice to be more proactive about the process. Why not focus your creative energies on a reality that you choose instead of one you react to?

The reason we wait until traumatic events is becouse we dont have A REASON to do so, not a good enough one at least, when it becomes fight or flight ..well then it gets more simple to make a choice i guess , as alan watts remembered us "the only question worth asking is if I should commit suicide or not" . Yes we can create a reason for ourselfs without a need fro traumatic events but do we have "a system" that encourage and help us create it before ? no. the humanity is slowly getting there in my opinion tho and thats fantastic.

It is never too late. If you were a tree, someone could have made firewood out of you. But you're a human. You can eat some apples, keep the seeds and plant 10 trees with them, and if 3 of them survive, you already have the impact on the planet that, as a tree, you could have had or could have not. You can feed some birds with a little piece of bread next time you go for a walk, you can keep some plants in your house and take care of them, you can give a homeless person your sandwich if you see them on the street, you can donate to a charity, you can buy from local stores to sustain little businesses, you can keep your house clean, you can teach people some skills, or whatever fits you. You have so many options. You can have much more impact on the planet than a tree, by planting 100 trees (I know I already said something similar). Or you can do much more, without putting too much effort in it. If you're comment is true and you feel like you wasted you're last 50 years, and you feel bad for it, that should help you understand that you don't want, 10 years later, to feel bad because you wasted the last 60 years. With a few small steps, I'm sure you can come back sooner or later and say that you did something you're proud of. Because, with a little bit of help from your mind, the last 50 years can become not an empty amount of time, but your best teacher who gave you a very important lesson: Once you used it, you can't get you're time back. So, as much as you still have time, you might want to use it properly. And by properly, I mean that if someone asks you, before you die, if you're happy with what you did in you're lifetime, you can remember someone you helped, an animal you fed, a smile on a friend's face, a thankful word, a grateful moment, and you can answer "Yes!". And guess what? You still have time.

You know, people have touched my life profoundly and they never knew it. We really have no idea how we have touched each other’s lives. Blessings to you.
